It's hard to tell his personality from mostly stills. We need to see him do something, or have a reaction to something. That would help with a lot of characters actually. Ok E3...get here already! D:

Morning Cullenites! 848 pages, Awesome! We will hit page 1000 in no time...Can't wait for the celebration! And if anyone can explain to me how to quote a post I like I would be soo greatful. I have tried clicking on quote but it never quotes anyone...
It probably depends on the browser you're using. On mobile, click on the post, and a quote button comes up. If you see the quote button but it doesn't work, it may be because you're on Internet Explorer or similar, which doesn't work with quoting. Maybe try Firefox or Chrome instead?

Yes, it'll be nice to see him in action and what he's really like. In the meantime... there are LOADS of guesses we can make based on funny expressions...It's hard to tell his personality from mostly stills. We need to see him do something, or have a reaction to something. That would help with a lot of characters actually. Ok E3...get here already! D:

You'd think... Hard to say. That's a bigass hilt. (resisting size jokes here...
) Regardless, altho I do like feeling xena!badass for drawing my sword from my back... it would be nice to have a good old fashioned hip scabbard.
I mean that you can't carry a 2-handed sword on your belt, it will draggle after you, because it's longer than your legs. And you wouldn't be able to unsheathe it without somebody's help if it was in scabbard (and nobody does that because of it). It's usually carried on one's shoulder. Like this guy does:
So what I'm trying to say is - I hope Cass will stick to a londsword.

Yay Cullen gets to own a pair of pants! I feel like the costume designers also have some templar like skirts still lined up for him though

...because DA always follows real world physics in attaching our weapons to our backs invisibly, having waif skinny elves wield door-sized twohanders, and in firing arrows from invisible bowstrings... #justsayin
(edit: So, agree... it makes more sense for one-handers at the hip... but who knows what we'll get!)

I think I want him to have his skirt. It's one of traits I'm used to see him with XD He's completely transformed soon, no noodle hair, no mole, no templar signs, no skirt.. sigh. I don't want him to completely look different.

I have not given much thought to Solas' personality yet, but the idea of him being like a slightly mad scientist/fadentist(?) seems like a lot of fun!
There are many interesting theories about Solas in the Solas thread, one of them being that he was raised in a dalish clan but was taken in the circle for some reason, the coolest one (but sadly the most unlikely)was the one about Solas being an ancient elf.The only thing I know for sure,is that I like him and I want to learn more.

I'm kind of a stranger around these parts and I've gotta ask. How do you manage to keep threads alive for this many pages?
I think it's because there is lot of regular people who like to come back to here and discuss. So it's not random people saying one thing, maybe getting couple replies and never coming back, it's more like that when topic or info comes there is ten people or even more discussing it together ^^ Other thing might be cause Cullen is returning character there is lot to talk about already.

I walk away for a few hours and come back to this! Way to go, everyone!
I am happy that Cullen gets pants for once, although I agree that somewhere down the road we will probably see him in game with a skirt too, haha. Actually, as a side note, do you think we can change the look of our advisors, so Cullen, Leliana and Scribbles? We can change the armor of our companions to an extent and change the way our main base Skyhold looks - wonder if anything extends to the advisors as well...hmm....TOPLESS CULLEN FTW! :-P
BTW it was confirmed by Gaider a while back that we will be able to hug/kiss our romance interests whenever we want, after starting a relationship of course, like in DA:O. I cannot wait for this! It would be nice to return from a mission and visit Cullen to give him a kiss -swoons-
Also, my thoughts on Solas - he intrigues me and I do look forward to getting to know him. Then again, I look forward to meeting all the companions in DAI.

Yeah, I know. It's just that I got excited for a moment, "OMG SCABBARDZZZZ!!!" and then you noticed it's a two handed sword on her belt.
You know, I've played some games where devs did it better. One handed weapons were on the belts, and 2-handed on the back. It's not very accurate historically, but it makes more sense ![]()
The picture we are talking about, however, looks like they just threw random people with random weapons in there, without thinking much, and that's why Viv has a sword, Solas looks like his butt ate his undies, and Cass has a 2-handed weapon on her belt
So I still hope weapons will find the right places eventually ![]()

We are always high on lyrium
That's why this thread is so full of magic! (and we also offtop a lot)

(not to butt in on a question addressed to eluvianix, but since it's been a bit:)
Not announced AFAIK, so it could be totally wrong, but: http://fansided.com/...-leaked/#!M37WT
Jealous of whoever gets to see it if it's true. Hope we get some good media coverage.
