This year I really just wanted DAI and now Ruby/Sapphire remake.

Omg you guys, the joys of being the baby of the family 
My MOM is buying this Uber Edition for me as part of my birthday present. That may make me sound like I'm 12 or something but I don't even care. I needs it! I wants it!

However, I am still nervous because I'm wondering if it's limited quantities?

 

Haha, my mom says my hobby is too expensive for her to invest in so I am on my own (but she paid half of the ME3 CE when I didn't have enough money.  ) I told her about the CE and she was astounded over the amount of money it was.

 

Mom: WHAT?! Why in the world is it that much money?!

Me: It has more stuff than my AC3 CE did, plus it's in a chest and sh*t.

Mom: Oh. Well, that CE was pretty neat. You got that Connor statue.

Me: Yep. Like I need more stuff to clutter my room, but I'm obsessed.

Mom: Does this CE have an awesome figure with it too?

Me: It has three mini statues representing the factions allied with the Inquisitor.

Mom: You need another figure.

Me: Uh, is this my hobby or yours?

Mom: I like looking at the stuff!

Me: One night I'll wake up to you raging at the screen with a controller in your hand.

Mom: Hun, I don't even know how to turn on half the sh*t in your room. 

Me: You have to find the sweet spot and stroke it.

Mom: You need to get laid.

Me: That's what Dragon Age is for.

Mom: Until another Joker situation comes up...

Me: HOW DARE YOU BRING THAT UP. 

 

My mom is practically a gamer, she just doesn't want to admit it.

Well, your mom sounds awesome! I'm 27, though, and I run the risk of looking crazy to people. I'm like, "Momma, you KNOW this is my FAVORITE game! PLEASEEEE. I call birthday rights!" She says, "Kelly, your birthday isn't until October." I said, "I know but it won't be around then! ITS A CHEST OF GOODIES!" Then she said, "My God, a chest of goodies, why didn't you just say so? I'll call you in a minute to talk about it, I don't know." Which is basically a yes. And yes, she was being sarcastic about the chest. She knows I'm a nerd.

I wish I had other gamers in my family. My siblings play minecraft, I hate minecraft, it's like a plague.

My mom doesn't see the 'point' of a sandbox game like Minecraft, but I did get her into WoW some years back (I had also tried getting her into Portal when Steam was giving it away, but apparently she got frustrated and ragequit it ). My brother occasionally plays mostly single player games or plays with his other friends, although occasionally we'll talk about stuff we've both played (like Black Flag and so on).

 

And the rest of my family likes these weird things called books.

I'm just so worried about getting the game ON October 7th. What if I get the Uber and my tiny gamestop doesn't have it on the 7th?! I'll DIE. But then, if I just get the DE, will I be able to download it without problems... And which platform?! PS3 or PS4?! It truly depends on the keep I guess, and you'd think i would obviously know all about that, but it's still beta and I am just a bucket of feelz. Someone slap me. Then help me. XD
