I'd personally get the physical CE. In my experience if you pre-order early they will almost definitely have a version for you as long as you pick it up the day it releases. I'm not one who likes owning games digital. I like to feel it and I like to collect too. Owning a game digital seems artificial and technically, you're only buying a license which means it can expire. I just get paranoid that one day the games will disappear on the digital platform to download and you'll never be able to get it again. With the physical disc it will always be there as long as you take care of it. Plus it's pretty to collect on my shelf.

Yeah, it just depends on how the keep will operate. For me, anyway. The boyfriend has cast doubts upon me about the uber edition. I'm going to wait until I hear back from someone before I decide for good.

Are they supposed to be the same? Once you upgrade a keep to be military... does Cullen hang out there? Does that mean you tap into the military pillar's specific talent tree?

Or could they be slightly different? Maybe the keep upgrades are just a part of the talent tree for each pillar. Maybe those three concept art people aren't placeholders, but are intended to be different than Cullen, Lel, and Scribbles?

 

I would tend to think the advisers stay at Skyhold, simply for the sake of convenience. It would be a huge pain if, say, you needed to talk to Leliana and Cullen about something and Cullen was halfway across the map from you and you've forgotten where you left Leliana. Having them at Skyhold would mean they're always accessible to advise the Inquisitor. Then minor less developed NPCs could represent the different pillars at different points on the map.

My head-canon is that it's actually not blood (or nutella), but kaddis so Hawke's mabari knows where s/he is.

While the über-licious CE Inquisitor edition looks awesome and drool worthy, there's just no way I can justify spending that amount of money on a game, yeesh, not with a family of five living off one income and currently dealing with a career change/move/etc. just not gonna happen. As it is I'm only getting the digital deluxe when it comes out because my wonderful brother is gifting it to me as a birthday present! Otherwise I'd have to wait for more financial stability... I know my husband would go the extra mile to get it for me in release if I asked him, but I'd feel guilty! Thank goodness for birthdays and big brothers

Oh wow. I could use that amount of money to upgrage my PC a bit more to run DAI a bit better.

But we can still get the art book, right? It will probably have all the pictures of... everything. And the characters from the tarot deck. And the map. And probably more

So I just bought The Masked Empire by Patrick Weekes. I have been in a Dragon Age-related book reading craze of late. I am currently reading The Stolen Throne by David Gaider then plan on reading The Calling. I may skip Asunder. In August I plan on buying Last Flight

 

I have never read any of these novels and they are a great way to satisfy my Dragon Age cravings while I wait for the game to come out.

@obsessedwjpn I think Asunder contains some minor spoilers for TME. And it makes more sense to me now that I'm reading it after TME, so skipping it may be a good idea Have fun with the books! The Calling is my favourite. I think I'll re-read it again after Asunder.

So far I am really loving The Stolen Throne! I will probably skip Asunder because from what I have read about Cole, I'm not sure I could relate to him as a main character. Oh well, hopefully in Inquisition I will get a better introduction to him.

Well if you pre-order it now, it won't charge you until October. So, there's plenty of time to get the money together. I for one, am taking a temporary second job.

^ I agree with this. Besides, it has interesting lore bits about templars. And I think it will help to understand what's going on in DAI. And it's a good story too. And it explains some stuff about the Fade. And some characters I love are in it
