Well there haven't been really any major announcements since then, right?? Maybe you should just not worry about it, or maybe just put what you think is most important in one last video, then just wait until E3.

I do agree that there needs to less "I would gladly murder you if you weren't a friend of *MAIN CHARACTER*" going on. DA2 felt less like a bunch of friends going out to do awesome stuff and more like one person constantly trying to keep everyone they brought along from killing each other. Just once, I wish I could have shouted, "FENRIS, STOP HITTING ANDERS. ANDERS, LEAVE MERRILL ALONE. DON'T MAKE ME TURN THIS QUEST AROUND!"

 

This was part of the reason why my party was often composed of Varric, Isabela, <insert third companion here>. Because at least with Varric and Isabela, you don't really have to worry about "I DON'T LIKE YOU BECAUSE MAGES/ANTI-MAGES/WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE ME?". But I feel like (or rather hope) we won't see nonsense like that anymore. Disagreements are fine, but being constantly at eachother's throats? Nope, do not want.

Yeah, PAX. I've been working on the latest news update, the video comes in at around 20 minutes, there was more tidbits than I realised, lol! I've also gotta do the trailer analysis, a special video about my two previous protagonists (but there's no rush for that one until closer to the games release), a review of TME and then those dev diary info vids if they ever release the footage, lol.

I have lurked in this thread for a little while now and really enjoyed it. For the most part it is usually nicer in here compared to the other threads. I am pretty new to the whole forum thing so I wasn't prepared for how mean it can get. Then after all that stuff earlier I went and looked in the Cullen 2 thread and its like all the "cool" people are in there talking bad about the others. Makes me sad.

Aww, but I think some Inquisitors may find it cute. I know I would. Not all the time though But if after my Inquisitor slays a dragon or two Cullen decides to carry her into her bedroom himself, because she looks awfully tired and limps, then why not? Walking is boring
Can't really imagine him doing something like that, to be honest. In Origins he really liked my Amell's confidence in herself and her powers. At least until the Broken Circle, but he was a bit broken himself then.

Yeah, PAX. I've been working on the latest news update, the video comes in at around 20 minutes, there was more tidbits than I realised, lol! Well the group that Lola created, it's so we can continue to discuss Cullen without being spoiled.

Well, if there will be people in the group, then maybe it won't feel like a solitary confinement I mostly worry about that, I don't want to feel excluded from the fandom just because I'm a very slow completionist, who will probably spend 300 hours on one playthrough I just don't want to know who's the Big Bad, and what endings the game has. But I do want to discuss Cullen, and all the new info about him, and the romance and everything

I feel you there. I'll be chug-a-lugging right on (more than likely) behind you. I worry that I won't be able to go anywhere at all while I'm playing since it'll probably take me the next 15 years to even find Cullen, better yet complete the game.

I haven't seen any bad talk either. Don't worry, hun, we may disagree on some things but talking bad isn't our thing; we often discuss it and come to a compromise. We've had to band together to escape harsh outer views, the last thing we want to do is turn on/hurt each other. 

 

Plus Thread Mom would send us to time-out. XD

A lot of ppl feel safe in here and just wanna have some fun sometimes, when there is nothing else to talk about Cullen. I too am guilty of going OT quite a lot  and perhaps even make uncomfortable jokes  but thats just something to pass the time until something else comes around, and talk to ppl on here who some of us can consider friends, and to be fair the other thread was also OT a lot of the times when we had nothing to talk about Cullen.

As I said earlier, moderation is fine, and it's great to try and find that middle ground. I do think we should care about those fans... especially people who have been fans since the beginning... who find it difficult to keep up with this thread. That's why I love the chat room someone (Batteries?) created. 

 

For example, a lot of people complained about the gifs in the thread and how it made the thread difficult to navigate on various devices. The rest of the thread responded by trying to keep gifs under spoilers. I think that's a shining example of how great this thread can be.

Hmm, yeah, I see your point. I'm not really sure what to do! Even I forget to check the groups. Man, there was a group someone started to get an RP group together and I just realized I haven't checked it in over a month.

 

You know, we could always agree to be better about explaining what the content of a spoiler tag actually is. Sometimes I hit that stupid button because I have no clue what's hanging out behind it. Some of us are really good about saying "Asunder spoiler" or whatever, but it's not the norm.

So we get to game time and maybe encourage everyone to be a little more strategic! If you just met Cullen and have to fangirl, something like "OMGWTFCULLENMEETCUTE [spoiler]" Then my slow butt will know to not look yet, because my Quizzy is probably still lacing her boots, but you'll know it's cool because you did that four months ago.
