I hope the option for the Inquisitor to pitch in the party banter is in the final game.

Hopefully with some srs sass options to boot as well.  B)

I think the devs already confirmed that they would like this to be included in the game. They said that sometimes you will have the choice of what your Inquisitor says and other times it will be a set phrase. I am kind of curious how they will handle the moments where you choose what your Inquisitor says. Will a wheel pop up on the screen while you are running around the map and your companions say something? Very interesting...

Hmm I have got impression that he's outcast in Tevinter and wants to change Tevinter. I'm not sure what source is for that, it's just something I have seen mentioned in forums many times.

Dorian's description in the leaked marketing survey basically said this. He is an outcast from Tevinter, not like the other Imperium mages, and wants to change his homeland.

So I recently found out that EB, and likely other Australian stores, don't have the Deluxe Edition for PC. I am so damn angry right now. I want that damn Deluxe Edition. Why are the PC gamers getting treated like crap here?!

I am assuming you don't want the digital version? That is how I bought mine, through Origin.

Yeah, this is what I imagine it may end up looking like. Granted the demo is quite old at this point, so things could have changed quite a lot by now.

Ooo, good catch Obito! I think that would be a great idea! Thanks for pointing that out :)

Yeah, I'm a hard copy kind of girl. I like knowing I have it there at any time whenever I want it. Besides it'd also look nice on my shelf, it could sit next to ME3. :P

I am a fan of hard copy as well but seeing as in Japan they don't sell PC copies that I know of, just console ones and they are twice as expensive seeing as how Japan always charges an arm and a leg for electronics compared to other countries, I thought Origin was the fastest and cheapest way for me.

I prefer me physical copies too. I'm afraid the few digital games I have are just going to disappear one day.

I thought that a "hard copy" in DAI's case will simply contain the code you must then activate on Origin. Because no matter where you get it, you need Origin to play it. Even if you actually have some data on that dvd, it won't work without Origin, so it kind of whittles down the usefulness of the hard copy.

It's more that digital copies can run out or disappear and stuff like that. Having the hard copy of the game means I can install it whenever I want without having to re-download the whole thing. The only thing I'd have to re-download are the Deluxe Edition's extras.

I guess I'm happy with my console copy then. I don't like digital things.. they feel like they don't exist to me ^^; Like you can't show them off, you can't collect them, you can't touch them, they just exists as data.

That's why I want a hard copy.

I'm not a console player, though-- or, well, I am, but not when it comes to Bioware games. I've had all my Bioware games on the PC.  :wizard:

I like the Cullen group. I'm thinking about starting there a bunch of lore topics, for example about what we know of the Templar Order and another one about lyrium and its effects. We've been discussing these topics in regard to Cullen for a long time, but they kind of get lost in the forum. So maybe it's time to organize what we know, and then speculate the hell out of it? What do you think? Would anyone like to help a non-native English speaker with building walls of text?

Yesssss. Y'all's memory is way better than mine I can't keep up with all of the tidbits. Would be nice to have it all in one place besides the wiki or something where you have to search a specific thing. I am so lost sometimes in terms of lore. I'd like to join in on discussions about it but you can't do that if you don't know what other posters are even talking about. This is why I adore BOOKS ^.^ easy reference!

I think I'm both but I don't have gaming PC so I just play old games and light games (graphically light) in my computer. I have DAO and Deus Ex: Human revolution in it though.. DAO is okay, bit laggy though.. but Deus Ex is very laggy and hard to play.

I just popped by the Cullen Thread 2.0 and I saw some comments about how crazy and OT it gets here. And I thought that, if we stayed OT it would get really old really fast. Eventually we'd run out of stuff and start talking about how the color of his clothes symbolizes the impending apocalypse or something. This thread wouldn't have 874 pages and the old thread wouldn't have 3567 pages, while running on Cullen, and Cullen alone. Heck if we were never OT, we would have like 100 pages instead of close to 1000. Besides, being OT lets us have a little fun.

That just kinda irked me a bit. Ok, Don't worry. I'm stepping down from my rant-pedestal now and taking off my conspiratorial tinfoil-hat.  :P

I don't mind it but apparently there is chance that the thread will be closed by mods if it's too off topic : /. So I think we should be careful not to go too off-topic here?

See! Case and point for what I just said. Gala's mention of Varric's cousin leaves me with, "What?! Varric has a cousin who is a magister? When was this pointed out? Did he say it in DA2 and I missed it? Was it in the comics?!" Oh my brain. -_- why can't it know things? :P

Honestly, at this stage, I think any DA:I conversations should be okay. None of the character threads have a lot to work with, especially the character threads that are for characters who don't even have confirmed names yet.

Poor nameless things. D:

Speaking of names, it really wouldn't surprise me if we never, ever find out Cullen's full name. I mean we never found out Anders' real name.. Lelianna's full name I don't believe we found out? Hmm...

Why is this coming up again? No one ever said "Never go off topic and no fun for you!" Of course it's going to to go OT on occasion. I think the problem is that it's getting to be more off than on and that is what's going to get the mods to close us down.

@Dirgegun - Cullen's full name is going to be something ridiculous ... like Cullen Mullen

NO!! Fandom isn't silly! :) It's all a part of the bigger picture. These stories, fanfictions, fanart, and so on that we create, we create out of love for the original narrative and characters. That's not silly at all. That's true love.

LOL I sort of love this statement!

I don't think I'd be able to stop from giggling at him if that turns out true.

Edit:

Wait, wait wait. Watch it turn out to be Cullen Cullen.

Varric's cousin Mae is related to him via marriage. She married his cousin, and became a cousin too. She's super-adorable :) She's from the comics, and I think David Gaider said she won't be in DAI, which makes me sad, because I really liked her. She's just awesome *fangirling*

Now have a Cullen (with my sneaky Amell):

You can't throw a lyrical mud pie like that and then just drop the mic and walk off stage! I curse your dreams with the name game!

On Cullen's name - Cullen Cullen... like some weird birth certificate snafu, accidentally wrote it down twice and now he's stuck with it.
