I wasn't trying to be mean, or snarky, or a hater, or a troll, or re-ignite an argument . I'm sorry if it came off that way. I just had some feels. And you know how feels can be.
If it makes you feel better, it's my birthday and I am kinda drunk and am in the process of dyeing my hair purple, so I don't have very much proper word articulation or grammar. So nobody should take anything I say today, very seriously.
No really. The last time I was like this, I bought a tarantula. A freaking tarantula. I. Hate. Tarantulas.
Happy birthday! ![]()
May you and your tarantula have many wonderful years together! ![]()
I'm glad we'll be getting Cullen as a companion this time around. I just hope they don't go the "I've become disillusioned with the templar order" route with him. I really would like a proper templar viewpoint since we haven't had one yet in the series. Hopefully to counter-balance the many anti-circle mage viewpoints we've had thus far.
Yeah, I'd like to see Cullen recognize the Order's flaws and that there are areas where reform is necessary, but not turn his back on it altogether. I would see him more reevaluating his duty than walking away from it. That may or may not mean remaining a templar officially depending on what's going on with the Order as a whole, but I would like to see him continue to take seriously the need to protect mages and protect the general population from mages.
As far as Cullen goes (on topic WooHoo!) I can see him being cautious of a mage or Qunari. But what reasons do you think he'd have to be wary around say, a dwarf, or a non-mage?
Whoever the Inquisitor is, he or she stepped bodily from the Fade, was physically marked by the experience, and now uses magic to directly affect the Veil.
Frankly I think these are probably going to be the biggest things for Cullen to process, and other things like the Inquisitor's race or on-paper class are going to be secondary. ![]()
