The IB's model, even if old, was shown a bit in the E3 trailer.

The pre-alpha qunari shown at December was very different from IB, so I do think his model is pretty unique.

I'm hoping he's unique appearance-wise. I like companions that stand out more - Aveline with her tough-looking idle stance, etc.

Not a great deal, most of the PAX stuff has been about replenishing resources and interactive environments. All great stuff but not relevant to Cullen.

I was told this morning by several posters that there was a mention of LI banter with the companions and it has been speculated that if a LI is going to banter with followers he'd (Cullen) would pretty much have to be with the companions. So that was a little bit of hope for the companion Cullenites.

I'm not too sure it holds however because if we have mobile NPCs at the hub then the banter could take place there. Really, I don't think we're going to be able to puzzle out Cullen's status without more developer information. Which isn't really too bad a thing, there's a way to go before release yet.

I've heard that one, so... Is it confirmed, as - yes, 3 warriors as a companions, or is it a rumor, that it was confirmed?

My understanding from LadyInsanity, who heard the panel at PAX, is that it is confirmed to be an even spread of classes among the companions.

We have 111 pages full of reasons why we like Cullen. There's also over 4000 pages of reasons on our DA2 thread. You're certainly welcome to read them all.

I guess a little. He just seems like a jerk. "Mages cannot be treated like people" 

Maybe after what happened in DA:2, he'll change a lot. It does seem he will leave the Templars for the Inquisition. Hopefully his stance on mages will change and not just his stance on the Templars. If that happens, I may share you guys' love for him. However, even if his stance on mages doesnt change, it does seem definite that he will leave the Templars and stuff, so that might make his story and personality interesting even if I don't particularly like him.

Fair enough!   He'd probably be a boring character if everyone loved him as much as we do.
