er...*scratch head* ... perhaps a temporary companion at some story junctures? ![]()
I think that's a bad move on there part, as it might make casual gamers not want to buy it. I'd much rather play an easy game and feel like I'm awesome at it (ME3) than play a hard game and rage quit. :/

Don't you try to sugar coat it! ![]()
I'd much rather ride Iron Bull into battle than drag Cullen along anyway :3
Don't you dare make a "ride" joke

He did say we can drop the difficulty. I'm ok with challenging, just not TOO challenging.
If too many people rage-quit, they will probably do a patch or something.
They're making some really weird decisions in this game.

I played DAO on easy. I ended up using console commands to kill all enemies because it was too hard for me.
*hides in shame*
I agree. They said they didn't want people reloading saves, right? This is going to make my "perfection" runs really hard. I don't like hard.

***TRYING TO STAY OPTIMISTIC***
They have playtesters!
At the very worst, if you play PC, you can download mods
I would be totally ok if we either got health potions, or health regain after battle. One of those would soothe my worries. :/
Yea I def play on super easy... dont want my arse to get killed I love DA for the story not for the combat.. altho my husband is the exact opposite he enjoys combat more then the story...
I'm disappointed because I have physically limitations that get in the way of my ability to play sometimes. There were some fights in DA2 that were next to impossible for me to get through even on easy/casual because my hands would give out. And that's using a keyboard; I can't use consoles at all, even on a good day.

Didn't they say they weren't releasing a tool kit....and its super hard to mod the new engine?

potion and health modding should be easy enough.
Lola's new vid is funny XD
I hope there'll atleast be some sort of farm on the keep. I'd love to be able to grow my own herbs, animals, etc.
I also hope there can be a way for us to mine for ore/lyrium....like skyrim.

Want to hear something ironic? My fiance and I are the same. Except that fiance gets his ass kicked in Easy, and I play on Hard (DAO) or Nightmare (DA2) and say I play for the story. Which just goes to show that guys think too much of themselves things aren't always cut and dried.
Didn't they say they weren't releasing a tool kit....and its super hard to mod the new engine?
But they want people to submit mods as a kind of resume for employment. Weird.
It's so interesting to go back through all the old Game Informer videos now with more information. The Adamant article today just confirms what we originally thought, that this game footage is at Adamant. And, yes we're fighting Venatori. And seeking Grey Wardens. Dressed as a Grey Warden. Hmm.
(altho we seem to be fighting an Inquisition soldier here...
)
"Pursue Warden-Commander Clarel/Clavel/somethingnotcullen"

I reckon that would be just to show proof of skill, like part of one's technical portfolio, no? Not necessarily that there will or won't be a toolkit with the new game.
Something else odd... where's the lion??

Image with lion and Iron Bull from official site is big:

Another shot, from farther away:
Oh lawd. That'll be 300 hours of my life I'll never get back. I hoard things in video games. Just ask Vilkas, my boo hanging out at our house. Chests are filled with all the things.
Oh yes, Vilkas also studiously watches over my many, many chests, bureaus, glass cases, and suits of mismatched armor lol Do you separate yours, too? Like I put all my jewels in one chest, all my ore in another, and so on. I don't even know what the hell I'm even supposed to use half of that crap for.
