Mike Laidlaw: "The boy is apparently sleeping in today, so it's time to file some bugs on #DAI! First bug of the day was on how we handle emotional dialog."
Interesting!

Well, in real life people have different heights. I don't see why it must be different in Thedas for all races. For example, Adrian described as a petite woman, and Evangeline is super tall and strong, Fiona was short even for an elf, I think. When you write fanfiction, or commission an art, you can get rid of gameplay limitations. ![]()

From what I can tell it's only armour and weapons that degrade over time and get covered in crap. I think the clothing just gets muddy/wet/dusty when traipsing around Thedas.
TBH, over the normal course of the game... I don't really care if my clothes get dirty or my armor get tarnished. I'm not terribly interested in RPing my laundromat experience.
Clothes washing mini-quest? Maybe that's what all those naked guys are doing in that fanart someone drew ![]()
I'm cool with a standard repair system, where your armor becomes less effective the longer you wait to repair it, and then once you visit your blacksmith at home, it gets repaired (and of course, beautified and buffed behind the scenes). And, it would be cool to actually see the wear and tear until you get a chance to repair.
This reminds me of a race car game... where your car starts to get all cruddy from being knocked around, and you have to bring it to the paint shop or something lol
Or in ME when the... what was the name of the vehicle you drove?... if it got shot at, it would start to spark and flame all over until you repaired it.

Something practical or something about Andraste and Chantry ^^ I hope DAI's gifts are at least different than DA2's, Hawke was terrible gift giver XD Like Fenris and Aveline's gifts.. they hated them!
What?? Fenris loves his gifts! Oh... you must have rivaled him ![]()

I've never heard anything rude from any templar, actually. Don't forget, they are a religious order, and maybe they think Maker won't let them join the party in the afterlife if they swear
This is kind of what I was thinking. I don't see him swearing a lot, other than maybe under his breath when his ink accidentally blots on whatever important letter he's attempting to write. He doesn't strike me as a vulgar man... I can't see him yelling, "Andraste's t!ts!" or anything lol
What was Fenris' gift? I can't even remember now!
A sword from Tevinter iirc.

Shartan`s book and the Blade of Mercy
What?? Fenris loves his gifts! Oh... you must have rivaled him
Well I have done both and overall impression was that it was quite terrible gift to him ^^; But maybe that's because of me as well, I don't want to remind him of Tevinter ^^;
Meh, still preferable to people wanting to romance him I suppose, haha.
LOL Slightly.
Hush, you! He's totally mature in that final chapter! ![]()
Shartan`s book and the Blade of Mercy
Naw, all the Qunari are supposed to be taller than humans, in the same way that elves are shorter than humans. Height varies within their race, but the Qunari women are always taller than human men, it's just how they're built.
Maybe it's just me, but in the Last Supper picture, the humans and elves look to be about the same height. That kind of bothers me.
The Mako?
Yeah, that! Man I drove that thing until it was a rolling, flaming ball of fire. I never knew how much medi-gel I had, so I was always too afraid to stop and repair it. And yes, I treat health potions the same way. Horde the suckers and wait until I'm on my last breath of life before taking one.
Hello guys. Congrats on over 900 pages! ![]()

Yeah that's been bothering me too. Not to mention Cole looks like he's the biggest/bulkiest of the lot. I always pictured him as being rather short, sinewy and nimble.

He has two.
1. The Book of Shartan, where he admits he doesn't know how to read, and if he's your boyfriend, you can offer to teach him to read
This results in some in-house dialogue, where if you click on your book shelf, Hawke will mention that Fenris' reading is coming along nicely, and that s/he should pick out a new book for him to read. So cute!
2. Blade of Mercy, which is evidently a Tevinter sword replica. Happy friendship Fenris says he'll take pleasure in the irony of wielding it, whereas rivaled Fenris is offended that you'd think he'd want to carry such a blade lol

Yeah I won't feel so sad about not being able to romance him though if he's a big ugly hulk of a dude versus a cute little bish boy ![]()
I wonder how Cullen would've reacted to any of the companions we had in Origins - Awakenings.
If he'd like any of them or not.
