Because...because....the bond between lovers? (in my case) lol I don't know. I just had an emotional moment...logic is coming back :P

Maybe he does know but refuses to tell? ..nah he's not that good at lying is he?

Pffft, logic. Logic has no place in the Cullen Thread. We only have places for wild speculation and conspiracy theories. Logic doesn't fit anywhere in here :D

I guess that's one small bonus about not having Cullen as a companion, I'll be more inclined to switch the companions up rather than dragging Cullen around everywhere, lol.

... Unless I take a big liking to one of the companions, lol.

My headcanon at the moment is that Alistair knows where my Warden (his wife) is, but she swore him to secrecy so he's not telling anyone.

But....technically I'M the warden...so...so surely he'll tell ME where I am?......right?.....RIGHT?!?!

But seriously if we talk to King Alistair, and they don't even mention her, I'm gonna lose my sh*t. I just wanna know where my warden is :P

I'm also convinced that Alistair and Aria (my Warden) will go on their Calling together when the time comes, but they have a few more good years left.  :D

I'm intrigued to see what Leliana says if your Warden romanced her.

Ooh that always happens to me. No matter how many play throughs I do there is always at least one character I have to bring with me.

This brings something else up. Who do we think the Spirit Healer will be? If we don't heal as fast/as much out of combat and therefore have to be more careful I will never leave my healer behind. Watch...they don't give us a healer at all. c__c

I just thought of a fun way to meet Sera and Iron Bull.

So we walk into a tavern and we see Sera and IB having a drinking contest, and Sera wins :P . Sorry I thought I should share this

Do you guys ever cry playing video games? :(

Dear gods. For an example-On my first playthrough of DA2, I sided with the mages, and when Orsino gives up (Yes, that's how I felt about it! haha), I literally shouted, "FIRST ENCHANTER, NO!!" and then had to try to hold my sh!t together long enough to get through the fights. When the credits started rolling, I just covered my face with my hands and wept like someone broke up with me at the homecoming dance. It was awful.

I think that's why I love these games so much. I just care so much about all these ass.holes. *grin*

May I join said contest as a mini game that I have no hope in winning? Kind of like playing Wicked Grace against Isabela in DA:O lol

I think it'll be Dorian,if DHMG is indeed Dorian...Otherwise Solas, perhaps?Although I'd prefer it if this time we can have more than one healer to choose from.

My party will consistently consist of, Cullen, Solas, DHMG, and Warden Beardy. No one else will ever get to go anywhere. They'll just get left at Skyhold. I might even be generous enough to leave them a deck of cards to play with.

Considering Solas is a fade expert I would guess him. But he's probably the rift Mage. I also don't think spirit healing is a specialization anymore.

It's like I said before... it was a shame those two people got burned alive. In the chaos, it's understandable that people confused them for the Warden and Hawke. Fortunately, we know the truth that the Warden and Hawke are safe and well.  ;)

Yeah, you are right, if I find I don't like the canon, I will uncanon this canon, and substitute my own headcanon. Like I did with Hawke stabbing Anders. Devs said, "He dies", I said, "Hell, no!" My Warden dies when I decide.

BTW, The Dawn of The Seeker says all Seekers are templars, Lambert in Asunder also uses templar powers. So I wonder if it means Cassandra is also a templar, and she has lyrium addiction, and she and Cullen will have those support meetings where they talk about how they are trying to quit? :)

I suppose i'll end up using all of the companions over multiple playthroughs, but as it stands, I'll be getting the most use out of Cassandra, Cullen (if he does turn out to be a companion,) and the bearded warden.

As of now Cole and Solas will be getting the least use. I don't know why but Solas just isn't piquing my interest, at all.

I can totally see that.

Cullen: Hi, my name is Cullen

Group: Hi, Cullen

Cullen: And I have been lyrium-free for 2 months.

Group: *claps*

Meanwhile. Cassandra is over at the coffee table. Shaking, and on her 5th cup of coffee.

Cassandra: Why does the Inquisitor make me go to these meetings?

Cassandra: I don't even have a lyrium addiction.

Cullen: Admitting that you have a problem is the first step on the road to recovery.

Solas: *facepalms* Maker, Shut up Cullen. We all know the only reason you go to these is so you can get in the Inquisitor's pants.

Cullen: Why are you here Solas? You aren't a templar.

Solas: ............ <_<

Cassandra: He's trying to get in the Inquisitor's pants too.

This reminds me of a funny comment I saw trending on the DA official Facebook. In answer to their question, "who is your favorite Warden?" someone said, " this is a trick question. I'M my favorite Warden." LOL

Is it possible that Cullen is NOT addicted to Lyrium? When he was imprisoned by Uldred, I doubt he got his daily dose!  Alistair said you don't really need lyrium to perform your Templar duties, so maybe he never returned to i8t usage?

He's still addicted. Also, he was a very young recruit at the time, so he could very well have been not as addicted to the substance. And Alistair's words were retconned by Gaider eons ago.

LMAO  BTW, I think mages can become addicted too, so everyone should be welcome to the meetings.
And into the Inquisitor's pants.

Agree, it's highly unlikely since it has definitely been established that you need lyrium for templar abilities. I wouldn't call Alistair's words necessarily a retcon. I would just say that his suspicions about it being purely a control mechanism were wrong.

BUT! It's a good question how he survived in that cage without. Either they gave it to him, or I'd say he wasn't in there as long as he thought.
