Yes, Greg Ellis will sing, but nobody knows what, when and why. And I think we all are dying to know more about it, but nobody will tell us anything.

I suspect somebody's funeral too. Maybe we finally find that Cullen has a family? And one of them died, and he asks us for a leave to go to the funeral, and we can come along? Or maybe it's when the Big Boom happens, and lots of people die, and we must burn these dead, and Team Chantry does some singing, or bits of the Chant.

There was this fantastic old X-Files scene where Mulder was hurt and Scully had him in her lap and to stay awake while they waited for help he made her sing... It's very sweet / funny actually:

His stubble and eyebrows have always been darker than his hair, and I think it's quite common for dark blond people. If they give him his old hair color back, he should look ok Or maybe he has his old hair color, but the lighting makes him look like Draco Malfoy.

 

 

The stubble is there, I think you can see it if you sharpen more (lol, pixel hunting!)

 

I hope so, would hate to see him smoothed face! plus its like oghren says "Any warrior worth his salt keeps his beard!"

Y'know what? His new appearance is definitely starting to grow on me! I still prefer how he looked in DA2 but now that I'm used to this one I'm sure I like the new look even more when we see it up close.

 

I do wonder why his eyebrows are black though... methinks Cullen is a closet bottle blonde! 

 

He doesn't seem to have dark circles anymore. Maybe he's sleeping better? ^^

Well, they're still tweaking the characters physical appearance. Hell, Varric had orange eyes and red hair in one of the trailers, but in the latest one they've lightened his hair a bit and given him a natural eye colour. I think Cullen's goatee is probably still there, it's just hard to tell from that distance... it does look like he may have a scar on his lip or something.

 

One things for sure, some of the characters in the war room look far more developed than others so I'm guessing the majority of them are still a work in progress. Varric and Cassandra seem to have had the most work put into them currently since the pair of them are pretty much the poster companions for the promotional stuff since they're already well known from DA2.

That would be sweet, and I wouldn't mind seeing my Inquisitor seriously injured to the point where the LI or companion has to stay with her/him to keep them from losing consciousness. That sort of thing would make sense for Cullen to sing without being cringey.

If I could go to the BioWare studios, sit down with whoever designed Cullen in-game and get them to tweak a couple of things whilst I was watching I'd ask them to make his blonde hair colour a couple of shades darker, bring his goatee back/make it more prominent and darken its colour a bit if it was too light, lighten his eyebrows up so that they were a light brown not black, thicken up his top lip slightly and get them to give him back his chiseled jawline (if it's not just the shadows making him appear to have a weak jaw). I'd also ask them to maybe throw in the odd strategically placed sexy scar so that he'd actually look like he's a seasoned warrior, maybe one on his eyebrow and cheek or something. Oh! And get them to make his eye colour amber again if for some reason they'd changed it, lol.

I hope he still has these circles around his eyes. Some people just have them, and it has nothing to do with the lack of sleep, or anything, it's just the layer of fat under the skin of their eye lids is very thin, and the skin is thin too, and they always look tired. Cullen, being a blond man with light skin, may just be the type. He looked tired even in DAO, when he had no reason to (unless dreaming of f!Mage was keeping him up all night). And why would he suddenly look younger 10 years later? Besides, I like his look, it makes me want to hug him

I think I prefer without. My headcanon just is that he has dark circles cause he has been having nightmares and PSTD and I hope he's over those in DAI ^^

Maybe he's temporally out of templars? I think the catchprase: "Whatever we were before, we are now the Inquisition" might apply Cullen too. I think he'd still think he's templar but maybe he would serve Inquisitor under commands of Divine and return templars after that.. and because of this temporary job he has he might be without templar armor and symbols for a while.
