I guess it a case of choosing the lesser of two evils. I'm leaning more towards Celene because I don't want Gaspard to attack Ferelden, which he totally would. Poor Ferelden is still recovering from the Blight as it is, I don't want pompous Orlesian nobles bringing "the game" and their ridiculousness to my home country, LOL!

You make a good point! Crap. It's just that throughout the book I thought Gaspard was a douche and did NOT like him at all. Then when you find out [redacted], it's like Dammit Celene! :/ Basically, whoever Cullen is allied with is who I will ally with, I hate to sound fickle but it's the truth. Finally, on my 14th playthrough, after I've completely exhausted all of Cullen's possible dialogue, I might side with the other one and change up my romance, haha.

If you don't (or your Inquisitor doesn't) have a clear opinion of the right thing to do, I think consulting your military adviser is one of the best courses of action you could take.

 

I plan on my Inquisitor doing that, because the whole thing is such a mess and Cullen has a good head on his shoulders to help the Inquisitor sort through it. The military adviser is there to do more than just look pretty.

Celene and Gaspard are definitely both a bit cray cray in their own right. If I could squish both characters together and pop someone else out, I feel like they'd be the most ideal, considering the situation.

I think Gaider stated that we won't be able to marry Celene/rule Orlais through marriage (don't remember which one of the true). I don't think it'll be possible.
