Sometimes when my girlfriend and I go out, guys have a tendency to think we are "just friends" and hit on either one or both of us.

This brings me to why my avatar is a picture of me with a mustache. My boyfriend believes all I do is flirt on the forums and guys apparently would find a girl who loves gaming 'irresistible and awesome' so he bet me that I wouldn't change my photo to 'that one pic of you with that fake mustache' and keep it for 3 days. I asked him what I would get if I won, and he said he would wash dishes for 3 days in a row which I HATE doing because we don't have a dishwasher so it has to be done by hand. I said "HA! Challenge accepted!"
Omg y'all. 3 days of not washing dishes, coming right up!

 

Amazing!  Good for you.  Wish this would work on my husband, but he's definitely on to me I think.

Naw, I won't be doing any DAI let's plays because the game is a very personal experience for me and I'd hate to have to stop and start to record it, I like to play it for hours without stopping. I will be doing highlights videos of key moments and my reactions to it, though, as well as a review and subsequent videos about the game and the characters themselves etc.

I fantasize about profiles of all the companions and advisers just showing up on the website one day, all at once.  I know it won't happen, but I still hope it will.  Seriously.  *sigh*

That's a shame but i get it. Just sucks seeing other people play and go through the game without exploring and getting the full experience that was mean't for the game. But I look forward to your videos on DAI. They're really great, same with GamerMD!

Also, my boyfriend has no clue. Bless him. No clue at all that my FAVORITE thread is discussing a wonderful, beautiful fictional man named Cullen who makes me feel... Things. Haha! I don't get on here to flirt at all, but as he pointed out, I'm "the only person on there with an avatar of yourself" which means I'm looking for dudes to e-bang, obviously. Poor thing. What's funny is HE is the one who suggested I play Dragon Age origins in the first place because "I like dragons and old timey shite and it won like, 30 awards or something so it has to be decent" hahaha! I can't help it, though. I HAVE to change my avatar at least once every 2 weeks, and it has to be my face or I feel lost or some crap like that, I don't know how to explain eet.

I actually have a Cullen related question , if someone doesn't mind educating a poor girl who hasn't read any DA books: Who was Cullen in the games? I have no idea who this character is aside from the picture on the trailer and feel like I'm not being a good enough fan lately. What's his story? Is he mostly from the books? I hear he is in DA:O and DA2 but I have no recollection. For a while I thought he was Bann Teagan (because I'm bad with names, apparently, and hadn't played Origins in a while).

In DA:O if you play the mage origin (as a female) he's the Templar who has a crush on you, if you play as a male he's just nervous about demons and stuff. Later on in the circle tower (regardless of race) he's the guy stuck in the pink cage that's been tortured for weeks/months. In DA2 he's moved to Kirkwall and has become the Knight Captain, the dude who serves below Meredith in the Gallows. He's the one who sides with Hawke at the end when you battle Meredith and either bows to you (if you were pro-templar) or lets you go (if you were pro-mage). That's the short version, anyway!
