I'm sure the common folk are fine, it's just the nobles that seem utterly ridiculous, lol.
Yeah,I doubt they give a dime about games and intrigues of all sorts.

If i can't make atleast 1 orlesian (preferably several) faint by doing something wildly innapropriate i will be dissapointed.
I can totally see this going down.
The Inquisitor and Co are strolling through Val Royeaux.
Vivienne: Inquisitor please! I beg you to turn back! Don't do this!
Inquisitor: I have to! For honor! Cullen double-dog dared me! And The Inquisitor will not be known as a wimp!
Orlesian1: *GASP* The Inquisitor is wearing...Crocs!!!!
Orlesian2: Oh! How scandalous!
Orlesian3: *faints*
Orlesian4: Inquisitor! Have you no shame!?
OrlesianCrowd: *rabble rabble rabble!*

The inquisitor wearing crocs would probably mean the Inquisition losing Leliana. She would never approve of that, lmao.
If you exclude Kirkwall with it's paranoid templars and insane blood mages, then I agree the free Marches sound like a relatively nice place to live in,I'd also like to learn more about Starkhaven.
Actually, that's part of the reason I love Kirkwall. It's so chaotic and mad, it's my kind of town. I can imagine Hawke going to the Hanged Man at the end of a long day of fighting mad people, then getting into at least two more fights whilst stumbling home drunk.

Like Liselle, that poor lass in Origins who had to go on the run with her brother after he beat up a Chevalier attempting to invoke Droit du Seigneur. I know that Loghain mentions this happening to his mother during the Occupation, but that they do this to their own people is even more disturbing. The idea of more people like Vaughan is not a nice one.

While I think she'd object to the Crocs, I think she'd approve of anyone wearing the "Ser Horatio III" codpiece with 'stache. Her convo with the f!Warden about Alistair's "performance" makes me think she's actually kind of kinky and has a thing for (ex-)Templars or men in uniform...
Watch out Cullen! ![]()

Well, from the way most of the lore reads, plenty of the common folk are willing to do quite a lot to try and partake in the Game.
I want all the Orlesian dresses in my inventory please.
Would it be considered scandalous in Orlais if my female inquisitor wore a sweet mens dress suit? Because that's what I want to do. ![]()

There always some who are more ambitious than the others, particularly those who serve the nobles in one way or the other and are more likely to get involved in it.
But I still think that the majority of the common folk is less interested in that sort of thing and probably more focused on their everyday lives.I suppose we'll find out more once the game is released, hopefully.
I really want to see Celene in-game!

O_O Same here!! It's what I prefer to wear to events in RL. Big part of me is positive they'll force us into a big frou-frou get up, though. Where I hope we can at least choose the colour. But on the other hand, female Hawke got to wear the same outfit as male Hawke in Mark of the Assassin. So perhaps there's hope.

HE FAVORITED MY TWEET! ![]()

(best representation of my reaction lmao)

Well, then! Crocs for everyone! ![]()
Two maps with all new quests and bosses have been added: the Deep Roads Expedition and Broken Circle! pic.twitter.com/tIagPHQF9c
Broken Circle--is this likely to involve Cullen at all? i.e., I guess, how much story is there to HoDA? I've only heard about the negative issues with HoDA, and I know next to nothing about the gameplay. But since it's free anyway, if there's any amount of Cullen-related story in it I might check it out...

Well maybe with all the extra production time we can have a choice? lol
At least with MoA there are mods to change the outfit although that's not for everyone.

Kind of reminds me how FemShep was forced to wear that cocktail dress in ME2 and ME3, when BroShep got that awesome tux and/or leather jacket combo. FemShep should have been able to have the leather jacket in ME3, it irked me that she didn't. In my opinion, a leather jacket would probably suit her more than BroShep.
But I liked that MotA had FemHawke wearing the same outfit as Male Hawke, instead of wearing a ridiculously feminine outfit. I always saw FemHawke as utterly hating dressing up to go to all the formal events that her mother and later the city wanted her to go to.
Yeah, in my mind, FemShep and FemHawke are ladettes through and through.
I also liked that femHawke wasn't wearing a frilly dress (although humorous Hawke did say she'd only wear a dress with ruffles during an act 3 quest
) but I just thought it was strange that MaleHawke had the same powder blue top, he looked a bit feminine in it. But that's probably because I saw FemHawke wear it so many time before hand. A different colour would have helped.
[Crazy hope dream land]
What if we had to go to a ball or some formal event and there was a dressing room/character changer to allow us to pick an outfit and hair style, maybe a mask? It would be limited to a few options (like 3 different full outfits and a few hairstyles) but I think it would be an amazing detail. @___@

That'd be a great option, would be great to have the ability to dress informally in the Keep or doll themselves to the nines for a Ball. Would be a fun bit of roleplay to be able to dress our Inquisitor in formal attire for banquets, polished armour when adventuring, only to be dressed as a right slob in Skyhold.
(In my mind, in DA2 Male Hawke's jacket covers a lot of dinner stains, while FemHawke wears a skirt because she spilled a drink on her trousers.)
i know im gonna love orlais it seems my kind of country.
