In semi-related quandary, I keep picking at my fic. And now I'm questioning what one would really say as the Thedas version of "God rest his soul." "Maker rest his soul" or "Andraste guide his soul" or "Enchantment?"

What does Wesley say over Carver/Bethany outside Lothering? I mean at the end of the "Ashes we were and ashes we become" part? 

 

Or something like "Maker, welcome him to your side."? In Awakening, the Seneschal says something when Mhairi fails the joining, yeah?

I am not talented at all. The best thing I can do that might be considered art is Photoshop

LOL It often feels like it to me! Like Adela said, I feel like sometimes I can trick the BSN into giving me a rogue Like once and a while. Like I catch it off guard when I suddenly Like from my phone instead of PC. I sneak one in before it glares at me, humphs, and starts watching me again like the the Eye of Sauron. 
 
On the soul, here's a reference on various exclamations in Thedas: To the Void with That! Swearing and Exclamations in Thedas. There's another good one on swearing on tumblr, but I don't have it handy.. My suggestion would be something like "May he rest at the Maker's hand" which they often use. In the Chant, it says the Blessed go to the Maker's right hand when they die.

Draw your last breath, my friends,
Cross the Veil and the Fade and all the stars in the sky.
Rest at the Maker's right hand,
And be Forgiven.

It doesn't have to be anyone's definition of art. It's just whatever you want to contribute. Photoshop is as pertinent a medium as anything! Go for it!

Agree. I think we're on track unless something unthinkable happens like a new Cullen companion guide... Um... wait a second! Yeah... I guess it's hopefully win-win all around!  

 

I finally have the banner ready for Post 1 and have my last-minute-edited new Fic Chapter One loaded. Yay!

Though many believe I hold Thedas magic when it comes to photoshop, I'm not even using that program! lol. I use Microsoft power point for everything shown thus far! lol. If someone as technologically challenged as me can contribute, I have faith in you!
