Way back when DA2 came out, I recall them saying that they like to announce preorder about 6 months before release. So if the game comes out in November, they'll hopefully announce preorders in May sometime.

Why are you guys so eager to pre-order? I mean I am pretty sure there will be no shortage of copies and so far no special editions or pre-order incentives have been offered yet so why pre-order?

TWIST: game delayed to 2015 to compete with TW3 xD

I Haz Pre-Order!

Yes, yes. It's not the actual thing. Still waiting on that but I figured if I threw my money at the screen often enough something would happen! I am now (supposedly) locked into a pre-order! ![]()
Btw... It's on Origin. ![]()

I always Preorder Bioware Games, & I have been since Jade Empire & earlier games from Xbox Original which I still own my Jade Empire & also my KoTor. never played The Old Republic kinda of hard to play an MMO when you are in a DEAD-ZONE.
I am preordering my Copy in May I have to be careful cause also in May I am also getting Drakengard 3 which is the year of the 3s DK 3 is prequel taking place years before Caim & DK 1. This is about Sisters & 1 Sister trying to kill her Other Sisters. The Game is also radically different & is Heavy on Sexual Content being more mature than previous Drakengard games.
Also, I always get Bioware games such as my N7 ME 3, my DA 2 Signature I think Bioware always gives excellent DLC Goodies I cant wait to get on my War Horse or Sit on my Dragon Throne I am getting a Connan The Barbarian VIBE.
Also on the Preorder Deal it says Additonal content to be announced for DELUXE version this Means MORE, but we all know that they will not be any Character DLCs, so this leaves MISSIONS, or Story Missions.
I think 9 Followers is Enough, & if I am not mistaken DA 2 also Featured 9 Followers with Sebastian being DLC & Talis The Elf from MOTA being a Guest Character. While Hawke's Sibling dies in Prologue Opening. The other Sibling remains.
I will be ok killing Time until Inquisition after all I been waiting 3 YEARS, so what is a FEW MONTHS, with awesome games such as Drakengard 3 to going to see Transformers Age or Extinction or X-Men Days of Future Past,
KILLING-TIME WILL NOT BE A PROMBLEM, did I mention FALLING SKIES SEASON 4.

Preorder is available on Origin, but only as a PC download. Where can I preorder a copy for PS3/4?

They mentioned a Collectors Edition on the twitter:
@dragonage We're getting lots of questions about a #DAI Collector's Edition. We hope to have news and details to report in the next few weeks on that! https://twitter.com/...663844563656705
But I noticed that Game Stop has a deluxe edition as well:
http://www.gamestop....-edition/114771
now my question is, is the Collectors Edition the same as the Deluxe Edition or will the Collectors Edition be different then the Deluxe Edition?

Available on origin.
At least now they charge in USD instead of Euro.
What I've found most ludicros about all of that is 2 things,
1. In the trailer they already published that in pre orders you'll get some pack.. which is included in the uber digital deluxe edition so total mix up here.
2. In the Uber digital deluxe edition they sell it but states:
Bonus digital content – to be announced

I've been waiting to pre-order it on Amazon for quite some time now (honestly, was planning to pre-order the next DA game before the leaked survey even). Unfortunately, I'm still waiting because the details of the "uber edition" have yet to be announced. Bioware, please tell me what's in it and announce it so I can decide between standard and uber. (Not interested in a bog unicorn, and a dragon skull throne just sounds tacky).

A week ago I said that any retailer taking pre-orders was just writing them in a spiral notebook behind the counter.
Today... I pre-ordered from Amazon, and would have done through GameSpot if the "APR20%OFF" code had been valid for the Deluxe Edition! ![]()
North American Release Date is Oct 7, 2014!
@SethyMorgan and Swagger7: Just for you....

Should you buy Deluxe or Standard?
Personal preference is everything, but if you’re a dedicated fan and would like several in game bonuses, here’s what the Deluxe Edition offers:
[EDIT: Updated from the EA pre-order page.]
Dragon Age™: Inquisition Digital Deluxe
Live the ultimate Dragon Age: Inquisition experience with the Digital Deluxe Edition! This limited offering includes:
• Skyhold Throne – Every ruler should sit in a place of high honor, but as the Inquisitor you will have the greatest of all, fashioned from an ancient dragon skull.
• Red Hart Halla – Traverse the perilous, living world atop this great-horned beast.
• Bog Unicorn – Once belonging to an evil marauder, this unique mount has returned to inspire fear into those who would oppose you.
• Bring the world of Thedas wherever you go with the Dragon Age: Inquisition digital soundtrack
• Bonus digital content – to be announced
The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the mighty Flames of the Inquisition gear!
• Multi-class Weapons: Smite your enemies with the Flames of the Inquisition weapons arsenal. Whether staff or daggers, greatsword or war hammer, these weapons will make short work of your foes.
• Inquisitor Armor: Protect yourself against the onslaught of enemy attacks by suiting up in the Flames of the Inquisition Armor.
• Armored Mount: Flames of the Inquisition gear also includes a valiant steed, complete with its own set of Inquisition Armor forged from the flames of battle.

I'm wondering if I should pre-order the Digital Deluxe version of the game now or wait for a collectors/special edition...
Does anyone know if Bioware is planning on making one?

Pre-order the Digital Deluxe version now, (doesn't cost you anything) and cancel later if we learn that there's another version you want. ![]()

Is there is any news about pre-ordering a hard copy of the "deluxe" version of the game?

Posté 26 avril 2014 - 12:48
@Dubya75; You can pre-order the retail disc Deluxe edition from Amazon, GameStop, etc. All the usual retailers.
Interestingly, I just noticed that there's a GameStop "Bonus" version of the standard edition.
1) It includes the "Flames of the Inquistion" weapons pack normally only available in the Deluxe edtion, but...
2) It's a pre-purchase product. "Purchasing this game will result in an immediate, full charge to your credit card/PayPal account. The game will not be available for download until the release date."
The non-Bonus edition carries the usual "no charge until shipped".

I'm just confused why GAME has every version of Inquisition has both the regular and deluxe editions available for pre-order except the PC version of the deluxe.

'cuz GAME sucks!
They're the ones with the defective stock that had a 16-digit product code for DAO:UE printed on the manuals, and they kept selling it even after learning of the problem. 100% of the customers who bought that stock could not register their games.

I honestly need to find new game selling websites. I only know of Game.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk. Suggestions welcome!
