I'd almost forgotten about it myself, but does everyone else remember Aveline's sidequest in Mark of the Assassin?
The part where the body of a prisoner bearing a tattoo of her father's family crest (Which was odd because nobody was supposed to be wearing his crest after he was exiled, and this was more recent) was found with a message in a vial protected by a Revenant:
"Death protect this missive. All marks killed. The Grand Game continues. Beneath Du Lac for She of the Red."
And we didn't get anything more than that. Perhaps we'll get some answers about this? It does seem like foreshadowing, though I don't know for what.
Since we're in Orlais, I'd like to know more about Du Lac

I remember people talking about Aveline's father was exiled because he was caught working for or with Red Jenny.
But who knows..

"Death protect this missive" likely refers to how the message was protected by the revenant. The Dark Vial was itself probably a security measure to prevent tampering.
"The Grand Game" is probably a reference to The Game of Orlesian nobility.
"Beneath Du Lac" likely refers to a dungeon or crypt beneath the Du Lac estate that once belonged to Aveline's family.
"She of the Red" could be a nod to some ancestor of Aveline's. Maybe the original Aveline herself?
No thoughts on the rest.
