Running into issues with Tanita's Terra Coppa

Back on the old forums, I had asked for some ideas of what I might to do create the illusion of a floating island and you guys pointed me towards Tanita's Terra Coppa plug in.

It took some doing, considering it required recompiling it for an updated version of C+, but I found some one to do that for me, as I am not exactly conversant in said things.

I installed it, it seemed to work... ok, kind of.

Meaning, it functioned, but it didn't take long into the process of working on an area before these areas would crash mid save and corrupt the entire thing.

Well, now... the issue seems to have progressed to the point that I can't use the plug in at all, as soon as it begins the process of saves and lifting terrain it just crashes.

Its not corrupting my areas as the plugin has a failsafe for that by saving the area unmodified first, then doing the adjustments and then doing its own final save after.

However, I really want to use this in fact, I kind of need it at this point but I am stuck.

So, is anyone here working with a version of this on a 32bit Vista box, and isn't having issues?  Or had issues and problem solved them?

I noticed the link you gave leads to TerraCopa v1.7 for NWN2 version 1.13... Did you try the v1.8 update for NWN2 version 1.22 provided by Ladydesire [topic='here']http://nwvault.ign.c...ns.Detail&id=72[/topic]?

True, I get crashes from time to time, but it's not as buggy as in your case (by the way, I'm using Win 7 Pro 64).

I had not seen this at all.  In my original thread someone pasted a link to Grumpy Strumpet's original work, and she/he linked the 1.8 terra coppa.

Soooo...

No, but I am assuming that plug in is in this pack you linked and if so... I wonder how many horrible things will happen to my toolset if I attempt to add this...

the 1.8 version of TerraCoppa updated by Sotis B and Tani is the most current just make sure you get the zip file that is titled TerraCoppa 20090925 1765 it should be the bottom one listed. It is the one I have been using for some time with both winxp and win 7. I have not really had any crashing problems with it that I remember.
