So which is the platform of choice on the Bioware Forum for the next Mass Effect series?

I personally upgraded from 360 to the PS4.

And go....

This is about as well informed as a religious or political argument.

Who cares.

They will be on PC/XB1/PS4. Buy it for whatever you have.

What I'm more interested in, will the trilogy we know and love(well, for most of the time) be ported to the nextgen?

PC. Assuming it's any good, and assuming it's not just a lazy port.

X1, because the controller fits in my hands better than the PS4 controller. It's all about comfort guys.

PS4 for me. Hopefully there will be a simultaneous release for PS4, Xbox One and PC with Mass Effect Next. Not sure about a Wii U release but same goes for that if there is one. The first three games might have been a trilogy but the release dates for the different platforms were all over the place. Mass Effect 1 a year later on PC and five on PS3. Mass Effect 2 a year later on PS3 with the Wii U only getting Mass Effect 3.

I'm hoping crossing from 360 to PS4, they implement something like dragons keep, to shape the universe from the previous trilogy , as doubt save transfers will work from MS to Sony.

Save transfers from Xbox to Playstation won't work. I don't believe that this will be a problem, as they already created a solution for DA:I, so I'm sure they will do the same for ME. Or it's a prequel, and it won't matter.

Regarding the topic: I guess it really depends if you prefer to play on console or on PC. Both have their pros and cons. If you go for a console, I'd buy a PS4.

THIS

Also

Here, for people to avoid flamebait:

1. They will release simultaneously on all 3 platforms PC/PS4/X1

2. It will look best on PC

3. It may look better on PS4 than Xbox One, all multiplats so far do, but that might change or even out by late 2015/2016 when ME is expected to come

4. Save transfers can be "figured out" a la Dragon Age Inquisition

5. Wii U- LOL absolutely not. If so, a heavily redacted 1/2 ast port, perhaps even an outside studio like Arkham Origins or Titanfall

6. Nobody is going to buy 3 versions. Buy it for your favourite system and enjoy. It was never about the graphics anyway---story

If the next set of Mass Effect games are worth buying then I'll get it on PC so that I can play multiplayer without a subscription. If I'd known multiplayer was going to be good then I would have just gotten ME3 on PC to begin with.

I did the original trilogy on 360 from day one, but PS4's apparent advantages have me sucked in. I'd buy the next-gen ports of the original trilogy, as well as the new title on PS4.

I haven't decided which console I'm getting (I like to wait at least a year), but it will be whichever one wins me over by 2015.

Xbox One. If I do ever get a PS4 some day in the future, I may also get it for that, although I doubt it.

PC.

Though I wonder if the ties to the original trilogy will be strong enough to warrant creating something like the Dragon Age Keep for the next ME.

Knowing for sure that my PC which runs ME3 perfectly won't be able to do so with ME:Next and considering how Frostbite is quite demanding I think i will start to play with the next generation on consoles.

New generation of games require new technologies and quite frankly I don't have the money for buying a gaming computer so probably will switch to consoles which despite not being like PC are vastly improved in relation to PS3 and Xbox360. Plus it's seems like the perfect moments since ME trilogy is finished so there won't be any problem with save transfers, they would probably go the Dragon Age way so seems like the perfect time to switch.

On this regard probably will buy the PS4.

I'll be playing the game in my Bioware lounge room. There, I will be surrounded by my favourite Bioware-related fan art, posters, figurines, replicas, and my shrine to Casey Hudson.

XB360 - If this even happens, then maybe. Maybe. Probably not. I have my older MainShep on this.
PS3 - Nope. Don't have one.
WiiU/etc - Nope. Don't have one.

XBOne - Absolutely no plans. No intentions on getting one.
PS4 - If the original trilogy is rereleased on this, then maybe. If I get a console this decade, it'll be this.
PC - Yep! Fully intend on this. Getting my profiles all ready just in case there is a form of story import :)

PS4.

And if it's any good, I'll pick it up on PC as well, that way I can play with the friends I've made there from ME3MP.
