I'm not sure yet. I haven't upgraded to a new console, because there just aren't any games out for them yet that I consider 'must haves.' 

 

 

What I'm more interested in, will the trilogy we know and love(well, for most of the time) be ported to the nextgen?

 

I'm hoping it will be. Bioware has stated they've had internal discussions on that. Of course that is no guarantee that it will be ported.

It is my fervent wish that they decide to do it. Of course, if they smell there's profit in it for them, it's a foregone conclusion So, here's hoping for the best.

 

As for myself... I haven't bought PS4 yet, because I see no reason for that just yet. I have so many games left to finish on PS3 and right now, I don't need new console. But when they announce ME:N for PS4, I'll probably shill out the money and get it.

 

If the trilogy also gets ported, then it's no question whatsoever. I loved ME on PS3 and found it disappointing on PC. So for me, no big question there.

PC. Moving away from consoles for now, will buy a PS4 once it has a substantial library.

 

Though the specs for Watch Dogs and Witcher 3(rumoured) have me sweating. Hopefully frostbite 3 is gentle on my new i5 4670k & gtx 770.

Actually, I am waiting to see if the next game will be worth buying before I decide which platform I will be buying. I have so many games for my XBOX360, I have not purchased a new console. I hope the new game is truly great, because I am not really seeing too many next gen console games that make me want to buy an XBOX ONE yet.

Here, for people to avoid flamebait:

 

1. They will release simultaneously on all 3 platforms PC/PS4/X1

2. It will look best on PC

3. It may look better on PS4 than Xbox One, all multiplats so far do, but that might change or even out by late 2015/2016 when ME is expected to come

4. Save transfers can be "figured out" a la Dragon Age Inquisition

5. Wii U- LOL absolutely not. If so, a heavily redacted 1/2 ast port, perhaps even an outside studio like Arkham Origins or Titanfall

6. Nobody is going to buy 3 versions. Buy it for your favourite system and enjoy. It was never about the graphics anyway---story

 

I don't even think next Mass Effect game will be availble for that failed kiddie last generation console. Only on PC / PS4 / X1 .

Preferably I'd like to be able to squeeze more life out of my PS3 with Mass Effect like I can with the next Dragon Age game, but if not, likely it will be a PS4.

Interesting how many are saying pc. Hopefully with the xbone and ps4 being x86 based it will just be an issue of turning on more bells and whistles for the pc version.
