I created a new character in my first play though.  My achievements are showing on my profile, but my character is nowhere on the site.  I've looked to see if there is an "upload character" button I've missed, but I havn't seen it.  Any ideas or solutions?

Probably just got to wait. I haven't seen my new Character Creator... characters, either yet. Which I deleted/recreated today. It originally took quite a while for my earlier 'versions' to appear though.

Can anyone confirm this? Before the game was released we could create some characters and upload them.. it would take some time until they update, but they always shown up (in less than 1 hour). Now we've played for 2 days and still it doesn't get updated on social (the achievements are there in the moment I got then, looked like..)



Maybe some servers overload? I don't care if we have to wait since playing it is being good enough, but maybe there's some stuff that has to be made and I (and others like Sbri) don't know..

Well if it helps any my chacter from xbox 360 just uploaded after like 21 hours seems ot be major back up

I heard earlier about something in options. My character's not been updating either so I'm going to check that after work.

My character hasn't been uploaded at all. The only characters under my account are the ones I uploaded with the character creator.

Taleroth yeah there's an option but it's checked since the first moment here xD and nothing..



Blips same situation here, characters from CC are there, but nothing on the one I'm playing.

Well, considder how recently the game was released and how long it used to take even when just the char gen was out I'd say we have to expecta LOT of lag initially. Just imagine how many new characters are beeing created and uploaded these days??

True.. I just wanted some confirmation since achievements work fine (even one thing working doesn't mean the other will).

Hey.. could be just a coincidence, but I gone to the Profile screen ingame and uploaded some screenshots, and then my stats, character, etc was updated online! Some kind of bug/intentional or coincidence?

Sigh. Didn't work for me. I have screenshots for my character now, but still no character.

Yes, uploading screenshots will prompt the DA server to update your profile. You have to make sure that you are logged in when you are running the game however. It may also take a couple hours before the DA server updates the profile page.

Did you upload screenshots?  Just playing the game will not update on-line profile, contrary to what the docs say.

Hmm...the new pc (one I just started a game with yesterday) has now appeared, but the old one is still not showing up. I have a couple of screenshots uploaded from him, though.

I had the same problem before -- it turns out to be the daupdater.exe file didn't get patched when I install DAO:A with patch 1.03. So I manually install the patched, 1.03 and it now works. Also, it only uploads when you do a "hard save" from the menu, not a quick save like hitting F5. I also heard, if you change armor / cloth then saves -- it sometimes work. Like it was said before, the server can take a very very long time for the server to get to you on the queue.

I was having this problem. I eventually deleted all my screenshots and whatnot uploaded on this site (just in case I didnt have enough free space open to upload the toons), logged into DA and the game, made sure my firewall wasn't blocking the uploader, and then uploaded a new screenshot from the new character and made a brand new save file for him while logged in.



I don't know if this is the rub the rabbits foot while throwing salt o'er your shoulder, but it FINALLY updated my characters halfway after this.

For me, it seems that lately the delay in updates is several days to a week. I have the auto screenshot upload feature turned off though, so maybe turning that on might improve things a bit.

My characters wouldn't update, eventually I saw in game in my profile where the screen shots are it was saying 100 of 100 files uploaded. I deleted all of my screen shots from the game and my online profile and my characters updated.

Still having trouble with the old character. I reloaded one of the old saves, changed his weapons and saved the game...he appears now, but no character portrait or story loaded. Also, the version of him that appears under character is all bloody, which would have been highly inappropriate for the coronation--unless Anora's decided to have him slain as revenge for him killing Loghain.



Could it be because the game was finished months ago with that PC? Maybe if I get DA:A and start playing that he'll appear fully? I've been holding off getting it until it's patched.

Yeah I have been a members for days now and my portraits still havent shown up it makes me a sad panda. ALl my achievements and some of my stories have shown but none of my portraits and thats what I was really wanting so I could finally change my stupid profile picture. I guess its just a matter of waiting it just sucks its taking this long...almost a week....craziness.

ahhhh I see well that sucks...the update was mentioned 6 months ago I wonder how long it will take for them to distribute a patch : / Is it possible for me to download a character creator for the PC and upload just character creations from the creator?
