This game is so boring it's unreal. It's so generic and cliched it's painful. And which genius decided to put camera movement, attacking, and clicking movement on the same button??? The combat is terrible and extremely awkward.

Horrible!

Funny; have several replays with my version, and my brother is starting his third character. Must be a matter of opinion.....

It has it's flaws but I still enjoy the hamburgers out of it, personally.

Well It's the first game I've ever found where the controls are so messed up it's unplayable. The attack/move/camera (control) all on the right mouse button is utterly retarded. Why is there no gamepad support when the 'game' was released on the Xbox 360?

For such a boring game with "awful" features and "cliche" story and characters, I can't seem to stop playing it. 30+ playthroughts finished and I'm still on it.

Same way as multiple playthroughs of any game that you enjoy are possible: You like the characters and the story and want to relieve their adventures. Though, I do import different world states from Origins and try out different character builds, choices and mods.

Though, I do tend to spend way longer playing Bioware games than I do games from other publishers.

Dragon Age 2 was awesome. I've played it somewhere over 22+ times and loved every second. Yes, it had flaws but not enough to dampen my consistent enjoyment.  Mm....sweet sweet Dragon Age 2.

I do like DA2 as a game, but I can't bring myself to think of it as a sequel. I tend to think of it more as a fun game that happens to have the occasional amusing/interesting reference to DAO, one of my favorite games of all time. DAO was on such a higher caliber with the characters, plot, setting, and, well, everything, that calling DA2 a "sequel" feels like an injustice. Just my opinion.

Even though I disagree with some of this, I prefer to call it Dragon Age: Kirkwall myself. I wish they had gone with that instead of just Dragon Age II.

I think a single word to signify the growing conflict that leads into Inquisition would've been better. I can't think of one off the top of my head, but it would better fit the naming convention of the stories beyond the games as well.

That's how I felt about Awakening. I never thought that a relatively brief expansion would feel like such a chore.

I enjoyed the game and am still playing it. Granted, it's not DA:O but it's still fun. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mine just happens to not coincide with yours.

DA2 is better than Origins, IMO. I've got at least 15 playthroughs of DA2. The game isn't 'boring' or 'underwhelming'.

It has its flaws, of course it does, but it's still fun.

Liking games is a very subjective thing. I played DA:O 20+ time while still getting different results of my choices, something that is important to me. I also prefer the more realistic combat in DA:O. I just finished a third run through DA2 and I did it quickly using a mod that makes all of my companions have powers and abilities that result in insta-kills, so I can spend the time doing more listening to the important dialogues. This was the first time in well over 2 years that I've touched the game. I did re-live some of the dialogue and choices I made, so if I purchase DA:I, I can make choices from The Keep to carry-over as an import.
