I'm trying to branch out more, and use different characters/weapons/play styles etc.  So, help me out guys.  Which character do you consider to be the most fun?

Most fun for me is the N7 Paladin, with the Asari Valkyrie following up. And then, honourable mention, the Batarian and the Turian Sentinels. I find great pleasure in using Submission Net on Phantoms mid-air and then falcon punching them.

That depends on your playstyle. For me, it's the GI. He's like a sniper's wet dream.

 

Drell adept, Fury, and Asari adept + claymore/wraith are pretty fun.

 

Anything + Venom is awesome (especially against Cerberus). With a venom I go as aggressive as possible.

 

On-host Kishock sniping never fails to be hilarious too.

 

Edit: Forgot to mention, that Drell kits or the Fury go hand-in-hand with adrenaline III. If Redbull gives you wings, adrenaline III gives you a freakin' FTL core.

 

 

Fury + Wraith sounds interesting.  I imagine I'd die...a lot.

Yeah, shadow was my first favorite... I like the asari...Lately I've been enjoying the FQE.
for pure hilarity, nothing beats the volus, though.

For me, it's definitely the Quarian Soldier. The combination of Marksman and Tac Scan can destroy even Platinum level enemies. Here's the build I'm currently using to turn the Hurricane into a long range killer: Hay

 

I don't use power based characters much anymore, but I really enjoyed the Human Engineer a while back. Very good kit. Easy to strip shields, destroy armor, and set up and detonate Fire and Tech Explosions. My personal build, which is most certainly not the most optimal way to play, but whatever: Hay

 

I also really enjoy playing an on-host, Siege Pulse spamming Juggernaut. Here's the build for that: Hay. Works especially well if you also have a Paladin in the game...

The most fun characters for me are those with a variety of powers and those that are suited for a mix of CQC and mid-range combat.

 

Smashbros, collector adept (power build, I find the PPR soldier build mind-numbingly boring), Saboteur, SE, HE, Drell Adept, Drell Vanguard, Asari Valkyrie are some of the characters with which I have most fun. 

(Adepts and vanguards are my favorite classes and are extremely fun to play)

 

Melee characters are a ton of fun to play - saboteur, valkyrie, shadow, slayer, smashguard, krosent, paladin, GT, GE are some of my fav melee kits.

 

On the other hand, weapon platforms like destroyer, flamerless trooper, most infiltrators bore me to death. Can't do more than 1 game at a time with pure weapon platforms.

+1 on vorcha sentinel, it's all i use since i get it, I grill everything.

Although I don't use him much, I'd say the KroLord w/ Power Hammer. If the enemy survives 2 of the 3 hits from his melee chain, the third hit sends the mook into an adventure in space and time. Home run!

Salarian Venom Infiltrator

 

You should take Disruptor ammo against Geth and Cerberus and Incendiary ammo against Rippers and Collectors. Disruptor also works against Collectors, but your DPS against bosses is going to suffer due to lack of FEs. On the other hand, Disruptor ammo primes faster than Incendiary ammo.

 

Basically, you just charge your Venom, run up to enemies, cloak, double-tap and then proxy mine. Finish off with another round if necessary (happens with phantoms sometimes). Only use ED if your shields are down. I would recommend Adrenaline III for this build because it has so much stagger output and a geth scanner on top of it, so you don't really need cyclonics. 

 

Leave bosses for your teammates or for the end of the round, you're primarily a mook killer with this setup. It really shines against Cerberus when you can just dispatch phantoms within seconds.

 

Kouzrah is playing an Engie here, but if you watch the killfeed, you'll see how much the SI wrecks with the Venom.
