Exactly, a chance. A fool's gambit if I've ever seen one.

It's not only that the child will be very powerful, it's that this power is in the hands of someone who doesn't seem to possess a moral compass.

It is not an even split, the risk is not even remotely worth it.

Edit: Let me be clear. I wouldn't trust ANYONE with that ogb, least of all a wild card with antagonist leanings.

It is your choice to say no. We may also see some redeeming qualities in Morrigan. She didn't kill any innocent people.

Now think of Isabela who did kill a boat load of innocent slave on her boat in "Those Who Speak". One of the two actually committed a terrible crime.

truly, i hated her cause she was annoying... as for killing dragons, im not looking at it morally... im looking at it like it was meant to be looked at, as an enemy in the game...  i mean i can understand having moral objections when its killing off an entire village, but killing a dragon that would eat said village, yeah no problems there

I agree. When it commits the crime, kill it. If it doesn't attack, I wouldn't.

well, if even if the dragon doesnt, i would....  dragons are at the top of the food chain, and unless they can talk, they cant be reasoned with....  lore wise, if they were out in the middle of nowhere, yeah im not dumb enough to go bother them, but game play wise yes, because thats something you're supposed to do in a game, beat up bosses for stuff

The more I think of it the more Flemeth is like some kind of conservationist. She does what she does for the sake of the world. If dragons are the life blood of Thedas then wouldn't it be necessary to conserve as much of them as possible?

Spoiler alert information from Silent Grove and As We Speak. It appears that Flemeth's daughter could awaken some of the dragons but not the great ones. She needed Marc's blood to awaken the Great Ones dragons. Below is from the comics:

Flemeth promised to help marc become King but he would have to wake the great ones dragons with his blood. The hall of sleepers is where the dragons went. When dragons were nearly extinguished from this world, the builders of the temple called to the few that remained. The dragons that came would rest there for generations until awakened by power. Flemeth’s daughter revived a few that didn’t die in their sleep. The great ones were always beyond her reach. They could only be awaken by Marc blood. The blood of King Calenhad the Great called to the queen of dragons and woke her. This dragon will not harm the blood of Calenhad. Dragons rule the sky before the veil, before the mysteries were forgotten.

The Arishok said Calenhad was a dog-handler who would be more. He was clever not wise and his strength was not his own. He traded a secret with a witch to learn the ways of power. The witch sent him to a cave where one of the great ones dragons ancient and proud its time nearly over lay. Calenhad did as instructed. He plunged his dagger into the creature and drank its blood. No one could stand against him.

What's the risk? What is going to happen?

I think it's possible neither Flemeth or Morrigan wear a black hat in the storyline of Inquisition, but I'd imagine their goals are in opposition to one another. Morrigan seemed more aware of Flemeth's nature in the Dragonbone Wastes than during the Fifth Blight, as well as her survival from death.

I wonder what Flemeth is. She seems to know so much about everything. I'm not sure how much she manipuled Morrigan at least during the blight, because it was her idea that Morrigan goes with the Warden and I guess it was also Flemeth's idea that Morrigan should do the Dark ritual. So I think that Flemeth might have gotten what she wanted. Of course if Morrigan didn't do the dark ritual then they both didn't get what they wanted. Of course there might have been some other ritual which could be done if their original plan was failed. So definitely there is a good opportunity for a great story. However I'm not sure is it going to be happen in DAI even if Morrigan is there.

Having separate content for male or female characters doesn't bother me in the slightest. It just increases replayability for me.

This.  I'd go farther with different (or, at least, altered) content based on species if they had time/funding to do so. ^_^

What if the old god baby is required to awaken and breed with these ancient sleeping dragon queens?

It was stated that these queens were intelligent (they can speak). And clearly old gods can speak as well. What if Flemeth wants breed them in order to strengthen dragons?

I'm going out on a limp here, but I don't think a human can successfully procreate with a dragon.

Nevarra apparently had many different species of dragons once, maybe it was a dragon hunting preserve...
