I think so, yeah.

Yea, that wasn't supposed to be Briala. That wasn't supposed to be any specific character.

Mohawk-braid-elf-girl was one of four not-characters that was drawn to establish a sort of visual style post-Origins but pre-DA2. The other three were a fully armored warden, a human mage, and a blood splattered qunari. This was so early in DA2 development that the human mage, then known as "biker mage", inspired the character of Hawke; it wasn't supposed to be Hawke, wasn't an early design for Hawke. It was a design they liked and became Hawke because they wanted to do something with it.

Mohawk-elf was used as a convenient place holder in later concept art, but I don't believe she's meant to represent any one character from the lore; she's just a design someone on the art team likes.

I can't remember which thread it was but a couple different users had said she was supposed to be Briala so thank you for clearing that up for me!

I haven't seen any Bria fanart, and I can't imagine what she'd look like for the life of me idk why

Lot of people thought Mohawk-elf was supposed to be Sera for a long while; it's possible they had considered using the design for her before going with the blonde we've seen in later artwork.

It is a shame, as I'm personally a big fan of the mohawk-elf design, but I doubt it's one we're gonna see in Inquisition, unless they let us style our pc that way.

I hope we can because I love that look, fits my style well :D

Imagine Celene and Alistair marrying to unite Ferelden and Orlais in Inquisition? What a game that would be.

Never going to happen, In my ideal world Gaspard rules alone, Celene is dead. (**** ruined her chance to be Empress alongside Gaspard already to play nice with her Harlot)

And Fereldan goes back to being a province of the greatest Empire in Thedas.

Fortunately for Orlais and my sanity, I don't think we'll ever get the option to push either for the throne like we did in Origins.

Of course I could be wrong, but eh, with everything else at hand, my inner skeptic is telling me no.

I think the Civil war will be resolved in DAI, after all it seems like we would need either one or both resources to combat the threat to Thedas, the Inquisition can make allies with whomever, but I'd ending the civil war would be likely be Mandatory. Continuity issues and all.

Or it could just be put to bed for a little bit while we work on the bigger threat at hand, same for the Mage/Templar war (unfortunately) -- I think both of those will probably be in a future game.

I think it's very possible we could end the civil war. We did in Origins. It seems a lot more likely to me that we'll end the Orlesian civil war than that we'll end the Mage/Templar War, because we're confined to the area effecting the civil war, where as the Mage/Templar war is a fully international issue. If we do, we'll probably have a choice, like we did in Ferelden.

I think it depends on whether they want to do the next game largely set in Orlais. They can resolve the Templar/Mage War from a variety of settings, but the Orlesian civil war requires us to spend a lot of time in Orlais. If they're planning to focus on another place next time, they probably will resolve Orlais this time.

Praise be! If they can give me some Deep Roads that had the same level of depth and wonder of DAO, I will be undeniably happy. That was honestly my favorite level of the entire game. Period. Well, that and the Urn quest. It made me feel like I really was on an epic adventure.

But the darkspawn are a part of the Deep Roads, and those are a staple of the series. Plus, I wanna go here!!!

This already makes me so happy. That sense of epic adventure that I felt was missing in DA2. The devs have gotten me so damn excited!

I presume that the guy in the front is the Inquisitor, with the coat.  If we get to wear coats with our armor I will be one happy camper

lol what are you talking about.

yeah I mean, I'd love to go to the deep roads but there's certain things I want to avoid. the new concept art looks gorgeous for it though.
