Hopefully, Adrian or Fiona.

I'm betting Cole, though I'd prefer Adrian or my Mage/Templar duo

Really hoping for Cole as a companion, but also hoping we'll see Rhys and Evangeline. Fiona is another one I'm hoping to see. But I'm not sure if Fiona counts as "from Asunder". I'd imagine there'd be a good likelihood of Fiona, Rhys, and Evangeline with the mage/templar war stuff, but...

Leliana and Justina were in Asunder...
If a character were to be included it would likley be someone in authority...

Leliana is likely a faction leader, she's already in.
Justinia's possible.

Yea I think Leliana, Justinia, and (likely) Fiona are already locked in because they were around before Asunder

That's a big fat maybe.
It should be someone very important if they're only using one.
Edit: For some reason I keep thinking it's going to be Adrian. What better way to balance out the myriad of beloved returning characters?

I'd rather have Cole over her, but Adrian would be ok for.... reasons ![]()

As negatively as I feel about her, I think she'd make a really good addition to the story/quests.
If it is Cole, I wonder how that would even work?

Maybe the Fade tears made him visible or found a roguish type body to possess

There was a guy in green that was a dual wielder in one of the screens I saw, maybe that was him? He looked like a blonde.

I thought that was the Inquisitor

They said that?
No, it just looked like it to me
But if the 3/3/3 companions is indeed true then Cole is looking to be the most likely person added from Asunder

Well he did say there would be "an even spread" yesterday.

Would Justinia count though? We already knew of her in DA2
If you wanna get technical, Justinia was introduced in a DLC for Origins. So yea, she's been around more than long enough that I wouldn't begin to think of her as an "Asunder character."

Oh gosh you're right, I totally forgot about LS.
I have a strong feeling she'll be in DA:I, either way.

I'm confident enough that we'll see the Divine. We are going to Val Royeaux after all.

Yea, I would honestly be shocked if she didn't appear.
But yea, when they talk about "Asunder" characters, I assume they mean "characters introduced in the novel", not "characters who appeared in the novel". If they said they were going to include a character from the comics, I wouldn't assume they were talking about Alistair, Varric, Isabela, or Sten.

Not necessarily. I've seen a few creator say "we got a character from book X in our derivative anime/game", but in the end it was a fairly minor one (in both places).
Like I said previously in this thread, most of Asunder characters are not in Orlais at the end of the book and they do not really have any reasons to move into a country in the middle of a civil war.
There was also another tweet by another person. It just says: "Elements of Asunder (including a character) will be in DAI".

How unfortunate.
I've got 350 on Adrian.

Another point towards Cole being the one; he's still in Orlais, or at least not with the rest of the group, nor does he seem particularly interested in rejoining them, come the end of the book.
