I think the mage/templar arc is going to be as big as one main quest location in origins.

The fall is going to be that much longer and hurt that much more.

Proceed with cautious optimism.

I hope that you are right, but I dare not keep such thoughts dear to my heart.

I still think Cole is the most likely to be our last rogue companion, so I think they could have meant him. I hope so, anyway!  :P

I don't. There is no evidence for it besides him being in a survey Gaider said to disregard.

My biggest thoughts with him being the only one from Asunder is; as the others said, he's the only one that would make sense being by himself and it would be a perfect fit as a companion since we're going to have the 3/3/3

To be fair I don't really care, I'm sure I can enjoy a good story whether it's completely based around mage/templar war or has nothing to do with it at all. I leave it to bioware to surprise me. :)

If BSN had it's way the Mage/Templar conflict would've been scrapped

Wishful thinking

Hell, if it had its way DA: I would be one long serenade to Solas and Vivienne while the Dalish are burned by Templars that looked like Cullen.

I will probably be disappointed only because I've been dying to put it to rest. I want to side with the Mages mwahahahaha :wizard:

In regards to Michel being in DA:I, why would he be in the Highlands? It's supposed to make sense that this character is there, but why would he be there? The only one that makes sense to me is Briala.

TBH, if such a thing were possible it would likely be greater than the game itself. Can you imagine the hilarity?

Briala could probably be there to or in Orlais trying to help the City Elves. But Michel could be there too trying to hunt Ishmael

Truuuuuue.

Idk, I, personally, think there's going to be more than one character from TME because they didn't push a number like with Asunder.

I'm hoping for Evangeline (because she's a good templar), Fiona (her perspective might be unique and she seems like an important player in the world), Rhys (to continue his mother's legacy), or Shale (one of my favorite characters, who needs closure in a game).

I just remembered again that Evangeline can't be THE character if only one comes back from Asunder, because she is dead if a player ticks off Wynne as dead in Dragon keep.

I don't think Briala will be a companion, because she's a faction leader. She would only help you if you were siding with the city elves. Plus, giving the Inquisitor access to the Eluvians seems unlikely. I think we will see Briala, but as a faction leader for the city elves. She seems about as likely as a companion, to me, as Gaspard. They're going to be the main faction leaders, I think. Celene, Briala, Gaspard, they're probably the people you can side with in the world conflict.

I hope there's a quest where I can rekindle Celene's and Briala's romance.   :wizard:

You can say that for Adrian and Rhys as well, though.

Only if it is as awkward as Avelines quest for love.

I don't think she'll be a companion but I do think we'll see her. I don't think TME character will be a companion either way though.

It completely messes up their stories. If there's no Wynne, why would Adrian set Rhys up?

Soo, she just doesn't set him up, mages just revolt without that act.
