This is what I'm thinking the food list means;
Baguette - Cassandra
Scotch Bonnet Candies - Solas
Chili Dog - Iron Bull
Tequila + Skittles - Sera
Beef Bourguinon - Varric
Ortolan Bunting - Vivienne
Giant Rump Roast - Warden
Surprise Meatballs - Dorian
Deceptive Wax Fruit - Cole
NPC Advisors --
Strawberry Parfait/Shortbread/Bananas Foster (Not sure the order on them, thinking Cullen might be Shortbread.)
But with the current count, I think the three extras could easily be attributed to the three suspected advisors. Probably Cullen, Leliana, Scribe Girl.
It's interesting to think about what these foods mean, in terms of the characters, too.
Baguette - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside.
Scotch Bonnet Candies - candied hot pepper. Sweet and hot/spicy.
Chili Dog - spicy, hearty and full of beans and fat and salt.
Tequila and Skittles - it burns it burns but it's fruity and sweet? (Not sure, never had tequila...)
Beef bourguinon - Beef stew. Cooked with wine. Fancy beef stew. It's hearty?
Ortolan Bunting - This is a really horrifying food. They blind, then fatten little songbirds, cook them alive, and then eat them whole. But it's a French delicacy.
Giant Rump Roast - meaty, and simple. Pretty much what you see is what you get.
Surprise Meatballs - Story behind it according to the devs was that meatballs were put with the desserts at a potluck as a joke. People expected dessert, and got meatballs instead. So... meaty and spicy where you'd expect sweets.
Deceptive Wax Fruit - Would not recommend attempting to eat wax fruits. They do not mean the actual fruit called "wax fruit," but, you know, fake fruits. Made of wax. Pretty, but not actually a food.
The other three are all fruity desserts. I don't think any of them really suits Leliana or Cullen, or what I know of them at least, since both of them have an edge to them, an element of danger that these desserts do not.
