Part of me hopes Siobhan Hewlett (Brooks' VA from Citadel DLC) is her VA
....
If that happens, sign me up for the Scribbles Romance club.

She could be a good fit.
No
Is it because you associate the voice with the character betraying you?
I wasn't really feeling this character at first... Honestly, because I felt there were already more than enough major human characters. But for some reason, she has been growing on me a little... Her design is actually really pretty.
If she's a sweetheart I'll probably love her and want to be bffs with her. I hope she reminds me of Kelly from Mass Effect 2. I loved Kelly and wish she could still be my secretary in ME3...

It's weird, right? We don't know anything about her, yet many people have had her grow on them. ![]()
She would be cute being like a Kelly-type personality.

Whoever voiced Brooks, whether Siobhan Hewlett or Victoria Kruger, did an excellent job. And she has a lovely voice.
I'm not sure why anyone would be against the actress getting future work in other Bioware titles.

Oh yes.
11/10.
I don't expect much from her character. I see her more like DA version of Kelly Chambers with less dialogue than the other two advisers.

Both of those women do have good voices, I agree.

Why do you think that, out of curiosity? The less dialogue than Cullen and Leliana part I mean.

Because we have 9 companions and three advisors, that's 12 characters. I don't think that all of them will get the same amount of content and since Scribbles is apparently only an advisor and the other two advisors are fan favorite characters, that means she will be the one left out.

I can see where you are coming from with this, thoufh her role as the political/economic adviser will still give her plenty of content equivalent to that of Cullen or Leliana, or at least nearly as much.
I wonder if Scribbles will end up having some badass fighting skills that we don't know about.
....or maybe she's a mage. That would be interesting!

It would be funny if she had like bard-level fighting skills.
A mage I don't think will happen though.
I'm almost sure she's going to be a mage, just for symmetry's sake.
But then I'm OCD like that.

There's still so much mystery with her that I can't really even make a decent speculation haha. Though If our advisers are Cullen, Leliana and Scribbles and Scribbles is a mage, we'd have a warrior, rogue and mage trio! Which could mean nothing but hey, I enjoy symmetry!
I would personally like Scribbles to be the only true noncombatant character we have. We have mages, we have rogues, we have warriors, but we don't have have any civilians.
After all:
i think i like idea of scribe girl being a mage. we already have lelianna as a rogue, cullen is a warrior so yeah scribe girl being a mage isnt so bad. it would be a balance however a civilian would be nice
Actually, thinking back on the PAX half hour gameplay demo I thought of something. WE see a mage using a book to cast rather than, or at least with, a staff. If Scribbles is a Mage, she has to be the book-using kind. ![]()

I don't hold out much hope for the advisors in general. I think their roles will be very limited. Maybe you will have the opportunity so send out spies or invest some money and thus establish your presence in some regions or get some side quests, but I'm not sure we'll get much beyond that.

i sure hope it is scribbles, i like the pdea of advisors and personally i love scribbles and lelianna.
plus a book using mage would definately be new to the dragon age games, as long as the can pull it off.( yes i know this is off topic)

The mage I was talking about was a Venatori Enchanter.
Yeah, the adviser idea is interesting. Have crucial characters who are not companions.
I would love being able to be a book-using mage. It'll feel like Fire Emblem. ![]()
