Another case of us seeing patterns where there are none.
Just because they released all of the companions first and two of the three non-companions after them, doesn't mean they need to release the final non-companion after them on the same schedule.
In the end, they've got total control over the information they release and they can break away from any patterns whenever they like. It's their product and any information that comes out before release is a gift to us.

I'm glad they're taking the time to do it right then. I'd like it much more if she looked like the original concept art. Also, showing her off in the best light.

You were just excited. Despite how snippy DG sounds, I doubt it was anything against you. As I mentioned earlier, he's probably getting bombarded by tweets about her as we speak, and just probably a little frustrated.

Well that's the result of being a big name for a company and having a twitter account. It's not an excuse to get snippy, it's par for the course.
That being said, I don't think his response was snippy at all. Just a guy telling it like it is.
They are obviously still tweaking something and they are holding off until they are satisfied she is ready to be released. Rightfully so.
Wouldn't hurt to give us a name though.

I always feel a bit bad for them because they get the brunt of the same frustration and they can't do anything about it. Hell, I think I've done it on occasion.

They're in crunch and working loooooong hours right now, and I'm betting fans hammering them with questions is turning into a scenario of the Mom or Dad in the front seat of the car while three kids in the back constantly ask "Are we there yet?"
I sympathize with us fans, naturally, but I also sympathize with the devs.
Thankfully, at least they won't turn this Inquisition around and drive right back home with it. I think. I hope... 
I feel like Solas and Scribbles were maybe still having their models tweeked later than other characters. Maybe they haven't totally got it nailed down still with Scribbles. I think when they say she's not ready, they might literally mean she's not in a finished state yet.
Either that or the marketing team just hasn't had time to get the information together yet. They may be caught up doing something else, like another trailer or con stuff. Who knows. But they said before that they're just releasing stuff as it's ready to go, so I don't think they're holding it back on purpose.

I think maybe they're redesigning her. I wonder if they were influenced by the people complaining that they didn't like the female companions so they're scrambling to make her more appealing to those people. Or they realized she has a loyal fan base and they're adding more content to make her just as important as Leliana and Cullen. Just guessing
