If you feel you've wasted half a day on a forum, the person to blame can be found in your closest mirror.
Um, no. I'm gonna stop you there. Delays happen in any industry. Part of customer service is advising your customers when those delays happen. Some will get mad at you about it, but most will appreciate letting them know.
I have fairly strong feelings on this because I do it for a living. When a customer in my industry has reason expect something to happen on a given day, and I know it's not going to happen, I give them a call. The same applies here. There was every reason to think the reveal would happen today. That some people camped out in a thread is proof of their devotion and their excitement, and any company worth it's salt WANTS customers like that. It would have taken precisely five seconds for someone to show up and say "Hey guys, it's not happening. Sorry."
95% of the complaints about this game are hokey, and not worth bothering over, but there have been some pretty glaring places where better customer interaction could happen, and this one of them.
Our fault for assuming. They don't need to stick to any schedule or any pattern at all. They do what they want when they want and we have no control over it at all and we're lucky to be getting any information at all.
At least, I feel like that's the developer attitude about it.
We made assumptions based off what they gave us. Not our fault, we just want to know the character because we been patiently waiting since March and this character is completely new.
Well, I feel like putting in a game and taking my emotions out on characters so...yes?
I'm going to run some people over in saints row. That should ease the pain ![]()

They need more misery and tears to get through the week ![]()
Even if it is true, my god are some of y all being sour pusses about it and being so unfair to them and people on here.If she's not ready then they get all the blame

I feel for you guys, still waiting for your reveal. I can't give you Scribbles but have some cake. Cake makes everything better ![]()

I went into the Sea of Calm thread and posted one of my favorite techno tracks. Which I'm listening to now and it's got a nice mellowing effect. Then I'm going to fire up ME3 for a bit and go kill geth until I feel better. ![]()

Exactly how I feel. Communication is key.

*stares at cake*
...I wonder if Scribbles likes cake.
Came back because WHAT THE HECK
Even if it is true, my god are some of y all being sour pusses about it.
That can happen in a case of mis-communication
Gaider did say she wasn't ready to be revealed a few days ago.
It was a pretty strong hint.

Very well said, and thank you for defending my post.

Source please? I might have missed it and if I did, then I know I should have trusted my gut.

Have a good bloody day.
Sorry you feel that way. ![]()

Then they shouldn't even do a reveal the advisers, if you're going to drop the ball on one of them.
I feel like this is almost as worst as not getting into the keep. I wanted her name #Butthurt

Especially the one everybody wants to know about because she is new.
Oh man. That cake looks good. I was actually in a pretty good mood and now I'm depressed that I don't have cake.

Mostly it's because she's not ready to show just yet.
Hey guys, let's not start bickering just because we're disappointed. We're all Scribblers here and we should take pride in being the underdogs among the fanbase. So, it might take a few days, however that's no reason to come down on one another.
Very well said, and thank you for defending my post.
I got your back. ![]()
Phew. It's been a rough day all around for me. I'm gonna go D&D with some buddies and blow off some steam. Later, gators.
To be fair, it's not like anyone from Bioware said she was coming today and Gaider gave a strong enough hint a few days ago that they weren't quite ready to reveal her yet.
Still, I'll admit it was a bit of an anticlimax for me too.
I'm not mad or anything, but the negative response to Scrib's not getting revealed is well called for.

That just said she wasn't ready on July 4th. We figured, wrongly, that they meant by Monday she would be revealed.
In any case, rather than be depressed, let's think of happier things. Any artists that are willing to give our gal some fresh fan art?

It isn't just in this thread either. I have a feeling that Twitter exploded lol.
