Hey guys, let's not start bickering just because we're disappointed.  We're all Scribblers here and we should take pride in being the underdogs among the fanbase.  So, it might take a few days, however that's no reason to come down on one another.

To be fair, it's not like anyone from Bioware said she was coming today and Gaider gave a strong enough hint a few days ago that they weren't quite ready to reveal her yet.

Still, I'll admit it was a bit of an anticlimax for me too.

I understand why people following Scribbles are upset. She's such a huge mystery. Nobody has been as big a mystery for months. Even Solas got mention in magazines and quite a few stills ages ago. Everyone had information floating around. Most people had names ages ago. I think people would be less upset if they had something.

I know I would be if we at least had a name.  I can understand why they aren't releasing her name without the rest of the info, but it's still incredibly frustrating.

Well, I guess I'd be more understanding if they said something like 'Meet the Advisers in the next week' or something like that. When they made their way through the companion reveals there was seemingly no set pattern and I wasn't expecting the Advisers to be different.

I have fairly strong feelings on this because I do it for a living. When a customer in my industry has reason expect something to happen on a given day, and I know it's not going to happen, I give them a call. The same applies here. There was every reason to think the reveal would happen today.

No, there wasn't every reason to think it would happen today.

The previous reveals had been day-to-day, but prior to that, the gap between them was actually fairly unpredictable. BioWare never made a promise to us, letting us know that there would be a reveal today. The only "reason" people expected one today was because they got their own hopes up.

I mean, I was hoping that she would be revealed today. But no one made me that promise, and I had no reason to expect it. If they had promised or even implied it, that would be a totally different situation. But they didn't promise, and on our own heads be our disappointment.

There's nothing wrong with holding her back till the dev's are satisfied with her.

 

There's also nothing wrong with releasing what they have with a tag that says "work in progress."

 

In the end all you can do is blame marketing and move on.

I'm really hopeful that with the rise of kickstarter and the successes of it's higher profile games, marketing in the Video Games industry will start to evolve. It's really frustrating that they hold some much info close to the vest until right before release.

 

Until that day comes, all I can do is wave my pitchfork at them in a threatening manner while screaming at them incoherently! Rawr!

That just said she wasn't ready on July 4th.  We figured, wrongly, that they meant by Monday she would be revealed.  

 

 

If shes not ready on the Friday why would she be ready on the Monday? There are no working days in-between.

How do you think a political adviser is going to affect the Inquisition?  What sorts of leaders do you think she'll have us deal with?  Is she going to be useful in the Game?  Do you think the delay on her reveal is because they are trying not to spoil the plot and therefore had to re-write her blurb?  Is she someone that you could see being a traitor or otherwise deceitful to us, ala Morrigan and Anders?  What country do you think she's from, and how do you think we would meet her?
 

Sure, there isn't a lot to go on, but a lack of a reveal shouldn't prevent us from talking about her in general.  There is also some new posters that are also Scribbles fans and might not have read through all 125 pages to see our theories up until this point.

Sorry to hear that. I dont mind playing with anyone less they are cursing every word and not even 15. I dont use voice on purpose mostly. I get mistaken as a woman over a phone more often than not less I say my name before conversation starts, they would say sorry and continue when they found out. I just say, its alright.

That's weird. I've played Xbox since I was 15 and move guys are excited a girl is playing with them. I've never once been put down for being a girl gamer, mostly embraced.

Should I feel bad that nothing happen, and that is was my question that made her more popular than Cullen for a day. I don't feel bad about nothing happening. And, on the bright side I got to send a day talking to some awesome people. You know what? I don't feel bad because BSN at the end of the day is about fun, and I think we all had fun today.
