I have been speculating that she and Cullen would be bisexual LIs, which makes me curious as out of all 12, she is the one we know the absolute least about, unless the one people think is cole actually isnt. Even DHMG we know his class and if he is Dorian, even more.

I think so as well. Cullen will be the male NPC LI while Scribbles will be the female NPC LI. 

 

Yeah, she is the character we have the least info on, even theoretical info. I mean, this thread is the first one dedicated to discussing her while everyone else in that shot has had at least a few.

If you want to get technical, given that Traynor's job was intel, Leliana's going to be our Traynor. 

 

Scribbles is going to be more like Cortez in his function of networking with various distributors for supplies, given her position as our trade advisor.

Being that we know nothing about her, there's no hard evidence for or against it.

 

I'm a strong supporter of her being a mage if only for the reason of symmetry; one warrior, one rogue, and one mage as our advisors, not to mention the table scene in the trailer also becomes perfectly symmetrical classwise if she's a mage.

I doubt she's a mage because she'll be involved in the political pillar of the Inquisition, and we already got a mage involved in politics: Vivienne.
That said, it's possible she'll be a mage. I agree on Former Fiend in having one advisor per class. I just don't think it's likely.

Maybe, but I doubt it. They think the answer to having set sexualities is to make it fair. I doubt they would make more than one lesbian option, so she is probably bi or straight. It makes more sense to make the Non Companion character bi as that makes 3 options for everyone (except you lucky bi people who will have 6

If Scribbles is a Lucrosian like I suspect, her history would have been more about amassing wealth and political power for the Circle as a whole, which easily transitions to doing the same for the Inquisition as an organization.

 

Meanwhile, my interpretation of Vivienne(which not everyone agrees with) has always been that her political interests have always centered around her personal power and influence, not that of mages as a whole.

 

It's a good explanation as to why Vivienne's a party member and Scribbles is in an administrative position.

It's not about them being too similar. I doubt it'd happen. They'd still share a similar concept, and I don't think we'll have two (Circle) mages involved in politics.
Plus, as the head of the Inquisition's political pillar she'd have connections and influence, and I don't think a mage that remained in the Circle could have such: Vivienne has such power due to her being the Imperial court mage. I might be wrong though, and I'd be happy to be.

I actually envisioned Vivienne as a Lucrosian. I never think that a Lucrosian has to care about the wealth of the Circles; one could care about increasing his/her personally power and wealth.

As for her being a mage, as I said earlier while I'd be fine with that I would prefer having a true civilian character in the Inquisition. Serve as a different perspective on things than usual.

But, you still take advise from Vivienne which is the mage perspective and then some. Its more who runs the other parts of your keeps, military, spying, and commerce, at least that is my idea
