Ye it's kinda confusing. YMMV means Your mileage may vary.

Random thought: so Cassandra is straight, Scribbles is bi, Sera is lesbian, add to that each character is unique in their own way, I dig it. Also I don't think Vivienne is a LI at this point, kinda a shame.

You may be right.  I was hoping she was in some way, and that Leliana would take the "unavailable" slot for females.  They also confirmed a bisexual male, but not who.

Actually, it's pretty even:

Straight male: Cassandra or Scribbles

Lesbian female: Sera or Scribbles 

Gay male: Dorian

Straight female: Cullen

 

So, pretty even so far.

Its the same for straight females.  Right now, bisexuals get 3 options.
