Yeah, Antiva is loosely based off Italy. I think The Crows are supposed to represent the Sicilian mafia.
 
Atleast, thats always the idea I got. Since they got so much political influence.

If their intent was to make the Crows similar to Italian mafia, it makes sense that they changed the name from Calabria to Antiva, since the region has its own mafia, though it's true that it's more similar to the Sicilian one (and how powerful it was in the last century).
Though Antiva is more similar to Venice in the Middle Ages/Reinassance than Italy.

Considering that the options supported by the Red Fists and the Purple Crows seems both unlikely (The head of the a Chevaliers is Gaspard, and I doubt the elves will have ambassadors in Orlais, I'd say that many things changed from the leak, if it was legit. The thee organizations are internal division of the Inquistion, and the Orlais-Ferelden conflict doesn't seen likely, sice Orlais is engulfed in a civil war

Well, Leliana is confirmed as head of the Inquisition espionage stuff, leaving the advisers of military and politics/commerce left. Cullen we know is in the game and will be an LI, so that probably means he is with us. And it makes no sense for him to be commerce over military, so he'll be the latter leaving politics/commerce to the 'political pillar' character, meaning Scribbles. 

 

As for personality, I doubt she'll be super Pro-Chantry only since we have that with Cassandra, Cullen, Leliana, and perhaps even Vivienne since she is Pro-Circle.

Politics/commerce seems to be a lot for one person to handle.  I don't know why it seems that way (versus the other two areas..maybe b/c it would also greatly affect those other areas?).  I guess we don't know much about this aspect of the game.  I just saw an article that mentioned it but all was vague.
