[Hanako Ikezawa]

Politics/commerce seems to be a lot for one person to handle.  I don't know why it seems that way (versus the other two areas..maybe b/c it would also greatly affect those other areas?).  I guess we don't know much about this aspect of the game.  I just saw an article that mentioned it but all was vague. 

It's mostly trade I think. But that generates economy and trade routes which the governments will want part of, hence the politics. 

 

But hey, maybe Scribbles is just really good at her job since she can't fight like everyone else.

If she is from Rivain, they do treat mages different there and she could be a non-combatant mage of some sorts.  It seems the Andrastian countries either use mages to hurl fireballs at bad guys or lock them up      It would be interesting to see a mage who just wanted to get a job in trade.

 

Or not and it's just wishful thinking.

Some think she will be a Mage, particularly from the Lucrosian fraternity, since it will balance the advisers out in terms of classes, since Cullen is a Warrior and Leliana is a Rogue.

Personally I prefer if she was the only true civilian noncombatant character of the group because it would provide a unique viewpoint as well.

 

As for nationality, we haven't decided if we like Rivain or Antiva more for her heritage, since both are nations whom we never really got a good source of information about from somewhere other than the criminal underworld. Plus Antiva's views on women would be interesting to learn about from more than a Codex.

 

We're all just wishful thinking right now. All we know is she is in the game and plays an important enough part to be shown in the follower shot of the trailer.

You're using info from a supposed leak, from which a lot changed. Gaspard isn't either Celene's brother or her ally, the three groups are now internal pillars for the Inquisition, and other things that I'll put under spoiler when I return.
We don't know how thee main non-Follower would engage us in the quests. And even of what was stated in the leak was still true (though I doubt we have to consult them EVERY quest), she'd suggest an approach based on economics and politics.
