Is one of those characters red? It looks purple to me.
As long as you know which one i'm talking about it's fine.

Im just wondering if I'm color blind, and it somehow avoided detection.
If everyone else is seeing that as red I'd be slightly concerned.
Nah, I see it as purple too. Mmh, I wonder what Josie's favorite color is? I would guess blue, because it reminds her of the ocean.

Well, she does have a lot of blue on her outfit.
I read the thread about it, and no talk of Scribbles/Josephine during it.
Have mixed feelings on the interview overall.
Same, I didn't like how he destroyed the only thing I liked about Merril, I'm not sure how to describe it but it reminds me a lot of myself. Meh.

I'd call Yellow/Golden yellow.

The Merrill confirmed as bisexual was the worst part. I liked her as being sexually ambiguous because I am so cool to have a character like me, but then he rips the rug out from under me. What he said in that interview was a spit in my face at best. ![]()

I never really liked Merrill but I completely understand how you feel, sorry :/

I'm curious how you breakdown things like bisexuality, pansexuality, and sexual ambiguity. From a purely informational and non-hostile standpoint, of course. I'm genuinely curious.
I acknowledge it is too off-topic and probably personal, though, so I understand if you'd rather not.

Is it a bad thing that I just want to take Merrill by the shoulder and slap her for being so stupid?
Hawk: (slaps Merrill) Everyone you loved died because of you.
Merrill: (crying into the ground) I only wanted to save my people's history.
Hawk: And, now where are your people?
Merrill: (cries)

It's hard to explain because by it's very nature it is ambiguous.
Imagine a foggy day in a mountain range so that only the peaks are exposed. The peaks are the set sexualities, like straight, gay, bi, pan, asexual, etc while the fog that rests in between is sexually ambiguous since you don't know which peak the rest of the mountains below the fog belong to.
That would be a really cool mechanic. And very reactive.

I had Merrill's clan live so don't know what you're talking about.
since her thing seems to be more politics and relations than merchants and money like I thought, I think it's fitting. And I can't really think of any other political advisor things that would have a notable effect on the game.
I can see her as also serving as a lore treasure trove. She would know how all the nations and factions think so can fill you in and offer possibilities on how to deal with them.

Thanks.

Yes. Exceedingly.

Doesn't Merrill mention saying the Qunari are easy on the eyes?, I wouldn't say she was sexually ambiguous rather that she didn't really talk about it so other than hawk the only mention of her sexuality is the aforementioned Qunari which were all male making her A) Straight or
Bi

Really the only difference between bisexuality and pansexuality (and I have discussed this a lot amongst my peers A LOT) is that when you say bisexuality you're only acknowledging the gender binary. Where as when you say you're pansexual you're acknowledging that there are people who exist outside of the gender binary and you would date them.
A lot of people used to define pansexuality as caring more about the person rather then their private bits but this can also apply to almost any other sexuality...
This is why I don't like labels.
Also I like that Merrill was confirmed as bi, because I'm really tired of people calling her playersexual...
Mmh, I wonder what Josie's favorite color is? I would guess blue, because it reminds her of the ocean.
Purple?
Way back in ye olden days it was by far the most expensive dye because it had to be harvested from lots of sea snails and was labor intensive, and the color didn't fade as quickly as some other dyes that were around. That was how purple came to be associated with royalty.
So assuming purple dyes are similarily created in Thedas, I'd guess that would be her favorite.
Yes. Exceedingly.
What about just grabbing her by the shoulder and shake her?

Do either and I would take your Hawke's head off were I in the vicinity.

Maybe, but I don't see Josie as liking a color just because it is expensive.

As I said, sexually ambiguous is the fog that covers the land the mountain connects. So someone who finds men attractive yet doesn't want to pursue an intimate relationship(ala Merrill with Qunari) would be an example.
In the real world, you wouldn't immediately call a girl who says a guy is handsome is straight or a guy who says that guy is handsome is gay, would you? You don't have enough data to surmise their sexuality. Even they may not. They just think that one guy is attractive.
Do either and I would take your Hawke's head off were I in the vicinity.
I already did and posted it on the internet.
