Imperfections make the character real.  She is, perhaps, more beautiful for them.  In my opinion of course.

In a literal sense, anything that throws off the symmetry of a face can be considered an "imperfection".  Effectively, however, that imperfection actually adds to the appeal thus nullifying the literal definition of imperfection.  Which was the point of my original comment...

 

I guess this could all be summarized as "we agree".

Of course, that might not generally be the case. Given Zevran's reference to the dangerous Dalish of Antiva City (which indicates the People have a presence in Antiva), Josephine may have some experience with the Dalish, which isn't necessarily the case with the other advisers (as The Warden was the one who primarily dealt with the members of Zathrian's Clan, while Cullen seemed to be handling administrative duties at the Gallows, rather than pursuing Dalish mages).

 

Given the severe lack of information about the Vashoth, I remain uncertain how that will be handled (I'm hoping an atheist perspective is available since the person isn't a follower of the Qun, similar to the one that was available for The Warden). It might involve the Vashoth protagonist overcoming the perception that he or she is Qunari (most likely among the Andrastian companions and advisers)  Given the proximity of Antiva to Rivain (where there are some Qunari converts), I suppose it isn't impossible for there to be some Vashoth (or Tal-Vashoth, at least) in Antiva.

I don't find Josephine physically attractive, but her face is interesting and I'm really in awe of the artists.

 

As for Josephine and the Dalish, I don't see her having much interaction with them. She seems to move among power brokers. I expect her to be at least somewhat wary of the Dalish, but never losing her impeccable manners.

 

There is also the fact that the Qun seem to stay away from Antiva entirely due to things like the Antivan Crows. I could see Vashoth seeing Antiva as a safe haven from the Qunari then. 

 

As for her interactions with the Dalish, I wouldn't be surprised if she at least studied it so she can have a strong foothold if the need arises. She is about ending the chaos across Thedas after all, so would want to know ways to make peace with all factions.

I think they'll be less distinctive when her skin is darker. You'll still see them, but they won't stand out nearly as much.
