You realize that Josephine is a politician, do you not?
I also realize that she has got a Brain. She is joining me in the Inquisition after all and is thus dedicated to fixing Thedas.
Which can't be said about many of the squabbling Politicians of Orlais. Hence why I want to punch them in the Face if they don't get it together.

This has come up a few times in this thread. What makes someone think she'd be like this?
It most likely stems from the 'fanatical devotion to the inquisitor' bit. I think it was DG who said that?
Of course if you have little tidbits you want to share...

One more brick to the wall cementing pc as a chantry puppet. She is a friend of Leliana right? So she too is closely connected to chantry and divine.
that doesn't necessarily connect her to the chantry, remember that Leliana wasn't always a dedicated follower of the divine or part of the chantry.. she could have met Josephine while she was still a bard in Orlais.

Man, I can't wait to romance her. She just seems so smart and she's not bad looking either. Though I'm still in doubt whether my first playthrough (human male) will go with Cassandra or Josephine. Or a possible third female of course.
Off-topic: I just realised that launch is less than 3 months away. I mean, 3 months ago was april and that doesn't seem that long ago. Hooray ![]()

Humm, she could very well be connected to the Chantry and the Divine, but just because she's friends with Leliana doesn't she is. If you're really anti-chantry, or anti-romancing anyone chantry related, you might just have to wait till we know more about her or romance someone else.

Maybe. Seems rather hopeless now though.
Well, there's a chance she won't be connected, and then if you don't like Cassandra, there's also a chance Vivienne will be confirmed as a love interest... otherwise you could play as a different gender, and try romancing someone else, or you might be out of luck. I've said it once and I'll probably say it a thousand more times, but the game will still be great even if you end up without a romance.

Given your previous statement about bisexual women, perhaps it's best she doesn't appeal to you generally.
I wouldn't be surprised if Vivienne could be nudged into an anti-chantry position. They are the biggest obstacle between mages and political power.

I'm sure you'll be able to make up your mind once you get your hands on the game. Or at least trigger one of the romances before the other and just keep going with it. ![]()

Probably her Willy Wonka looking outfit? I have no idea, lol.
Although I feel that all the females are beautiful there is one thing on each that bothers me.
Josephine - That dress.
Vivienne- it's the hat
Sera - raccoon eyes
Cassandra - well......... happy thoughts, happy thoughts.

THIS! It's not really a dress either. It's breeches with stockings. Which was in fashion in the 17th century, but for men. Like so:

You can be friends with someone without sharing their religion or even talking about that particular subject. And even if she is an Andrastian... I don't see a problem. Their religion isn't the Inquisitor's. The Inquisition might have been the Divine's idea, but that doesn't mean it has to be anything to do with the Chantry. The Divine in particular just wasn't the kind of woman to sit back and watch BS go down. ![]()

It's a combination of things, most of them admittedly unfair. This has come up a few times in this thread. What makes someone think she'd be like this?
- She shares a writer with Liara, who was very much like that
- The type is a popular one, both as a general fantasy and a BW LI
- "fanatical devotion to the Inquisitor" and "adorable" conjure images of hero worship and social awkwardness
- She isn't a combat-capable person and her skills aren't very cinematic. So the temptation would be there to focus on other things. Less so because she's tied to a mechanic, but still...

Personally, I'm hoping for a slightly more personable Anora.

I think people need to take the 'fanatical devotion' thing with a dose of light hearted teasing. Unless I'm mistaken, and someone please correct me if I am, it was a Monty Python reference?

Make that a lot more personable and I agree.

I have no idea how popular or not her wardrobe is. I don't really like it, but I always try to look on the bright side: we can get her out of those clothes. ![]()

I think it was, but I can't be sure. I haven't actually seen that particular Monty Python sketch.

I was talking about her postion towards chantry and the hopeless situation having a pc against chantry in general since everyone around you are chantry zealots.

I highly doubt that 'everyone' will be a Chantry zealot: Varric, Solas, Dorian, Iron Bull, Sera and Cole don't strike me as particularly religious.
