I will never understand the white-blond canon. To me, a skin so pale is really not a beautiful trait.

The way Josephine looks as created by Bioware is awesome, so beautiful, natural, and spanish!

I am totally romancing this girl unless Cassandra really surprises me. Maybe I'll try a trio just to ****** Cassandra off, that must be fun...

Well, she is actually darker than the pics in the OP. Patrick said she was about the same skin tone as May Brooks, shown here:

Ok, one more:

Inquisitor: Varric! If I catch you writing stuff about me and Josephine again, I swear I'll wax your chest!

Cassandra: Wax his chest? What do you mean?

Josephine: You pour hot wax over a hairy area and let it cool. When it is hard, you pull it off and the hair comes with it.

Cassandra: ... So it is a method of torture?

Josephine: Oh, it's something women and some men in Antiva and Orlais do in an effort to achieve an ideal of beauty.

Inquisitor: So yes. It is a method of torture.

Ok, the ignorance of Cassandra just made me imagine how she would look like naked, in all her hairy glory, and that settled it.

I am indeed romancing Josephine!!!!!!! :D

I like the way BioWare made Josephine as well, but you don't have to put down pale skin (and in extension, people with pale skin).

So I was watching this the E3 demo part 2 (again)

And we already know that we're the ones who sent Leliana there but we never actually knew why. Then it occurred to me, during the fight with Alexius he says "Where are your assassins now?" which means using Leliana probably meant attempting to assasinate him.

This only just makes me think even more about what would happen if we use Josephine instead (if plausible), perhaps they'll be some kind of meeting and Alexius turns on them and we fight.

Or maybe I shouldn't even be speculating considering how we have zero idea what the hell happened XD

Well, then I guess she will not look so spanish, and more Isabella style. Anyways, she will still be as hot as before I think...

Yeah, I apologize if I offended someone. I just like darker skins and brunettes!

I actually have a couple of friends (girls) that are blond, and were always mad at me at college because I always automatically turned down blond women in favor of brunettes...

Beauty is just in the looker's eyes, I am sorry if someone felt offended! <3

I tend to read Josephine as Indian but I suspect that's because of her concept art.

WHITE WASHING, NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART

As ever, they're unable to change the facial features, and it just looks weird.

Yeah, he said that Josephine was darker than Isabela but lighter than Vivienne.

I wonder if Sylvia or the other writers browse these topics and wonder why they bothered fleshing out a personality and character arc for the companions when the critical issue is their lack of a full bush.

WHITE WASHING, NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART

I have to say they did a good job. I might base my Fem Quiz off this. But, did she need white washing? She was white Hispanic/Latino which is not that far off. Also, if you're going to white wash someone does it have to be blonde hair, blue eyes. Why not walnut brown with hazel eyes. I think it fits a white washed Josephine. Plus, she look like my twin sister, if I had one. I don't want to romance that.

I'll never understand tumblr's obsession with making everyone Aryan.

I would bet more money on it being someone intentionally going onto Tumblr to stir up a hornet's nest.

Quite frankly, if you want to avoid that, I'd suggest an elf as the only reliable option.

What's the point of it anyway? It just makes them look like someone with vitiligo, not an actual white person.

I know it is just in the US we only six boxes to check off for race. It is sad to say we need to add some more boxes to that list.

Or not have them at all since American is a nationality not a race/ethnic[Only native Americans]

Indeed. I'm interested in learning about Antiva both because she is a woman and she is not from the Crows. Two completely new viewpoints of the country in one person.
