We have poetry!

Technically it's a soliloquy. A stolen one at that...

Maker, I hope the romance turns out better than this one did, the Devs will drown in our tears otherwise....

I can see it now...Josephine takes poison because she thinks the Inquisitor is  dead at the end of the game just as s/he walks through the door of the keep....

Pfft, my seven-year-old could write better poetry than that.

My infinite monkeys on typewriters could write better poetry than that

Anyway, that's some great poetry.

You might want to brush up on your classic literature...

Then I love your seven-year-old's poetry :)

I don't have a child, by the way.

My seven-year-old? She's a cat.

No.  That isn't what I'm trying to say.  What I said is quite literal to my meaning.  Positive discrimination does not exist as it relates to skin tone.  It does not serve to celebrate differences.  Discriminating against one group on that basis does not make up for discrimination against another.  It seems quite a stretch to further suggest that being against discrimination is akin to endorsing racial homogeny.

The only thing I can agree with is your last sentence, but in no way does acknowledging that require discrimination.

I don't understand - you think programs dedicated to oppressed minorities such as scholarships for poorer areas don't count as positive discrimination?

Don't mean to be rude but, do you mind taking this conversation to PM? It has nothing to do with Josephine. Thank you. :)

So while watching a movie, I saw someone who I think may be a good fit for Josephine's voice, just minus an accent.

Paula Patton:

I would like this, I can't help but think of Piper Perabo when I watched this. That smile wow.

Well, I'm Dutch. In our English class we never really got to read classic literature as most kids were still stuck with grammar issues in the last year. :P

But yeah, I do know that this ain't original. It's still great (:

And for some reason I figured you didn't have a child. Don't ask me why, for I wouldn't be able to give an answer :P

She's Antivan. They're immune to poison. :P

Does anticoagulant count as poison?

As I'm on holiday in Greece, and saw some Greek style of dancing (to folk music), today...

What do you guys think is common for Orlesian parties? Like, we know in Orlais the nobility has its balls. But how are parties in Antiva? What type of dance is the norm there?

I'm actually thinking what I saw tonight, the way Greeks dance (and yes I know there's a big difference between the many parts of Greece), is more a thing for Rivain.

For Antiva, I'm thinking the Spanish Flamenco-style of dance.

Well, if they went for authenticity, most dances in medieval times were round dances.

Spoiler

If they go style, they might pick baroque dances like the Minuet or Allemande. Flamenco appeared in the late 1700s and it might be too bold a dance for that time period. Remember, even the waltz was seen as a lewd dance when it started.

Here's an example of baroque dances.

Fun, festive, and ends with someone assassinated.

A Fete Worse than Death as it were. ;)

I wonder if it's possible to act antagonistic or prejudiced towards people in the game? And then overcome that, but it would be interesting to have the Inquisitor be distrustful of his advisers in the beginning. I need to think up some banters about that...

Patience!

Patience is what I try and tell myself, around 80 days left now, I still cry myself to sleep but great things come to those who wait for it.

Well, they didn't give her VA first like they did her being the bi LI, so I bet like with everything else we'll be last.

We really are getting everything in reverse order with her. I wonder if it will apply to her romance as well? We'll tumble into bed somehow and then develop a relationship.

Part of me thinks they held off the release on that Monday solely so they could do that trolling of "We can't...because you don't know her name yet. Yes that is what you think it is." on that Tuesday.

I'd be fine with that.

Granted, Isabela and Morrigan are two of my favorite romance arcs that Bioware has written, so YMMV.

Josephine: So how was the ball?

Inquisitor: We stopped an assassination plot!

Iron Bull: (Walks in behind the Inquisitor holding a large sack) And I got a sackful of those tiny sandwiches!

Josephine: So a rather boring evening then?
