Calling it now: She's playing Empress Celene.
People on the Twitter thread seem to be thinking she'll play either Celene or Mae, the transexual character in the comics.

I just thought, and this is probably a fool's thought, but if they are still recording after we asked if Scribbles was in as a nickname and they said no, maybe that added it in after Sylvia answered.

I thought Mae wasn't ready for DA:I?
Speaking of female characters, I can never bring myself to play a female character for some reason o.o
Also I may or may not be leaning towards romancing Cassandra first.

She could be in a DLC though.

That's fine.
Cassandra will be the LI of my first male character aka second playthrough.

Hey, I am a woman and had trouble playing women for quite awhile. It is understandable. And if Cassandra was an option for me i wouldn't be having trouble who to pick. But I really do love all my options. The question is Scribbles OR Sera and I can't decide!
She could be in a DLC though.
Devs were pretty clear that they weren't thinking of any DLC. But you could be right.
I thought I couldn't either. Now my canon Hawke's a woman.
My canon romance will be Josephine. Well, based on what we know now.
Thanks to keep I can make my canon Hawke a woman too (because I've always seen Hawke as a female mage for some reason)
It's just after watching Dawn of the Seeker, Cassandra grew on me, a lot.
But when I think about how much my Inquisitor will be working with Scribbles, and how they're going to have a few things in common I can just feel a connection.
This is Leliana vs Morrigan again except a much harder version for me xD
Anyway, plans change, in game I might feel things differently.
In Mass Effect I totally planned to romance Tali and everything, but I just got less interested in her and started to try and pursue Samara (and was rewarded in Citadel THANK YOU BIOWARE)
I couldn't take Dawn of the Seeker seriously because of the "phallic loincloths", as I like to call them, that were part of the Templar armour. Also the, imo, horrible animation and a lot of other things.
Cassandra's going to be my second romance, as for a long while I was 100% sure that she was going to be my first, and possibly canon romance. But then Josephine came along and well... you know the rest.
I really couldn't care less about the animations or the models or anything, I was always interested in Cass's back story and the movie was quite fulfilling in that part.
I'd love to know Josie's back story, part of me hopes to have a "normal" back story.
EDIT: Or have her be some kind of underachiever in the past, idk I'd love that, I think non of our older companions was anything less than at least "average" in their past lives.

Well, as normal a backstory an Antivan Merchant Princess can be, anyway. ![]()
I think Josephine is the opposite and is an overachiever. She is seen as like a prodigy at diplomacy.

So for your first, a female rogue who romances Josephine? ooooooooooo ![]()

My first playthrough is going to be a Female Vashoth Rogue who romances Josephine, yes.
As for Hale voicing Empress Celene... I'd love that, though I wouldn't want the voice to remind me too much of Shepard. Though I'm not really all that worried in that regard.
I think Hale'd be a great choice because she can put a certain... power in the voice of a character. Like she did with Shepard, for example.
Or it could be Gwendoline Christie. After all, the concept art of Empress Celene does resemble Christie a bit.
IF that's Celene in this pic ofc.

Off topic but I'm surprised there isn't a thread for Celene yet.
I'd probably make one but I know very little about her + I'm too lazy to read the mased empire.

That is pretty much what I'm going to do for my romance of Cassandra.

There was one, but it got locked due to a ton of fighting in it.
