If Josie ends up being like Kelly Chambers, does that mean we'll get a sexy dance from her in our chambers? I hope so

If it's exactly like Kelly's, I hope not.

Well, I don't know about 'sexy' dance, but I would love something like this image:

Josephine has same writing budget as companions, so don't worry she will have plenty of content.

I can understand why some might have some confusion; while Antiva is supposed to be based on the medieval Italian city-states like Venice, the Antivans themselves are influenced by the Spanish, particularly given their strong Spanish accents (and Zevran's VA even said he used a Spanish accent in the role of Zevran), and the inclusion of Spanish dialect when they speak (which would strongly suggest the possibility that actual Spanish might be a native tongue for Antivans).

I'd expect hers would be more like the pic you posted or something sexier than Kelly's.

Something more along the lines of this pic is what I was thinking of, sexy/adorable I guess. Kelly's dance was a bit too awkward for me.

Yeah, I've always thought of Zevran as "Dragon Age's Antonio Banderas", myself.
But back on topic, I just really can't wait to see how Josephine strikes the balance between diplomacy and assertive political negotiating. Since what we know of her seems to indicate that she's certainly no shrinking violet, I wonder the sort of situations it'll take for her steel to show a bit.

I think that was intentional, given what his VA said.

Quite possibly. We might get to see this if Josephine plays a key role in getting the monarchy of Ferelden to allow the Inquisition to establish bases of operation within it's borders, since the protagonist and the members of the initial proto-Inquisition are strangers to the Crown.

Speaking of, I would love if her "iron fist beneath that velvet glove" that the interview talked about is something like how Urdnot Bakara acted in this scene in ME3.

Also remember that the Inquisition seems to have a base in Orlais, and many of it's high-ranking members are Orlesian (and serve under the White Divine)
While that may help, there is Fereldan-Orlesian animosity, particularly because of stuff Alistair talks about in DA2. Josephine might help soothe those tensions.

Well, earlier we talked about the possibility of Anora and Josephine being friends. If they are, it would certainly help our case. Sort of a "If Josephine trusts you, I'm willing to give you a chance" type thing.

Most, if not all, the Thedosian cultures incorporate elements of several medieval European originals. For example, Ferelden has an England/France relationship with Orlais (where both sides play both England and France, amusingly), many of its people have English, Scottish, and Welsh names, and it has a political system that looks like a mishmash of Merovingian Francia and turn-of-the-millennium Alba.
So while it's natural to look at the similarities between certain parts of Thedas and "corresponding" parts of Europe, it's a mistake to progress from that to assuming that Thedosian kingdoms are Expys of individual medieval European ones.

It's just as well. If they were just going to carbon copy the real thing, they might as well use the real name. That's the nice thing about fantasy worlds: you can mix and match all you want. Kinda like Frankenstein's monster, but as a society... The possibilities are endless!
So, if Antiva is a mix of Italy and Spain... That's a double dose of latin charm! Yes!
