I suggest reading all the love letters and some books about Napoleon and Josephine. It clarifies a lot, b/c Napoleon knows what he is writing and it is not just nonsense.

That's it, I'm naming my male human Inquisitor Napoleon! And he'll romance Josephine!
The thing that always pops into my mind when someone mentions Napoleon is his visit to the Great Pyramids in Egypt, and the myth that surrounds that (him supposedly having seen something in the King's chamber though never telling anyone what it was). You can find that here.
Anyway, I should really get me a nice big, fat biography on the guy one day, because he sure is an interesting character.
But to get back to Josephine... sorry if this has been mentioned before (I haven't been around for a couple of days), but do you guys think she will be shown in whatever we're getting at Gamescom, or later, when we get closer to release?
On the subject of Josephine love letters:
Inquisitor: I take it that the messanger arrived?
Sera: Yeah.
Inquisitor: You opened Josiphene's letter didn't you?
Sera: Yeah, Varric's new cipher is wicked. Reads like one of Vivienne's dirty novels.
Inquisitor: I thought we were still hiding messages in Hard in Hightown? You did open the letter with the diplomatic seal right?
Sera: It had the mark from her signet ring.
Inquisitor: Did it look like the Inquisition symbol?
Sera: Nope.
Inquisitor: That's not Josephine's report. (sighs) That's for me.
Sera: (whistles) Damn, guess Josie's pretty hot-blooded under that cute exterior.
*continued*
Inquisitor: She's Antivan. What did you expect?
Sera: Oh well you know. That innocent smile, that prim and proper attitude. And she always dresses so modestly! Her outfit does show off her legs though.
Inquisitor: *innocently* Spend a long time looking at her, do you?
Sera: Well yeah! She's so pretty! And that little dimple in her cheek when she smiles that just begs to be kissed! The things I could do to that girl!
Inquisitor: *raised eyebrow*

I do wonder, with the Inquisitor traveling a lot and Josephine most likely is staying at the Keep--would they exchange letters to each other? DA2 had that system with letters, would love for it to make a comeback in DAI and possibly enhanced a bit whenever you are in one of your encampments/castles you can build in the game. I am just madly dreaming of it happening!
I do wonder what kinds of letters the Inquisitor would send to Josephine.
It may happen that the advisors come with us to the location and stay at the base camp or keep after you capture it. I'm just basing this on seeing Leliana at the camp in that one trailer.
That said, sending letters would be adorable.

Out of curiosity have there been a lot of people bashing Josephine yet? Specifically her looks? I'm not trying to start anything really I love what I've seen of Josephine so far. I'm only asking cause of some of the reactions I've see out of people I've showed her picture to.

No real bashing that I know of. People will say they aren't interested in her for various reasons but never bashing her.

I found a way to give your character darker hair name her Odile. Odile is the black swan and Rothbart's daughter in the ballet Swan Lake.
I haven't personally seen it. But I do kind of have a veil of "I don't see things that will make my emotions go crazier than they already are" at the moment.
I think she's beautiful. Personally I think(and I say personally) She and Vivienne are the most beautiful.

Well, they know that she is an Antivan Merchant Princess, and thus pretty much a Yakuza/Mafia Princess.
Anyone who insults her won't be insulting her long.
