So long!? >:s
Well, if the completionist playthrough took 150 hours... A regular one could take 50? I don't do speed runs, but I'm sure someone will try.

I seriously hope its not gonna be 3 real time hours.

We'll see. Maybe it's 3 and a half in game days? It looks a bit strange to me, but hey, you never know. Does Thedas function on a 24 hour system?

No idea. I also just remember how you can upgrade each section.
So maybe some of the upgrades will make the mission time shorter?

Possibly. An upgraded section means more agents/contacts/resources.
What I want to know is if it's possible to fully upgrade each section. My guess would be no, but it would be nice to reap all those perks.

I was wondering about that as well.
Its not gonna be a problem for me to gain enough points (I have my ways for that).
But if you can spend all those points or if there is a certain limit. That's the question for me.

That's what she said.
Well at least it's not a race against the clock kind of mission, feck those get me really panicked and I'd end up making mistakes, can't handle the pressure!!! ![]()

Oh yeah, money farming/ exp grinding/ glitch exploiting, that's my bread and butter. If there is a limit, it's going to be on how many points you can get, I would think.
I wonder if that timer is going to be used as a way to indicate that something went wrong? Like 'we sent an agent 4 days ago' they should have been back. Something went wrong.
This game is being set up with so many scenarios for failure, I can't wait!

Timed missions are the worst, unless they are story relevant. Then I can tolerate them. Outrunnning a timed bomb, for instance. I hate arbitrary time limits that are there just to boost the difficulty.

I just tweeted Mike Laidlaw with the question ![]()
So hopefully he can give us an anwser on that.
LAY SIEGE TO ALL OF NEVARRA
That would be awesome.
Epilogue: "While the Inquisitor was closing the Breach, General Cullen conquered Nevarra, Antiva, the Anderfels, Rivain, Par Vollen and Tevinter in the name of the Inquisition. When asked about these great military achievements, comparable to those of Emperor Drakon, General Cullen said: 'Well, I know Josephine and Leliana wanted to do it in a more subtle way, but I thought this was the safest solution. Also, it only took three hours to conquer each one, so it wasn't a big deal'."

It will be a big deal when Cassandra finds out...
She really comes across as idealistic, doesn't she? Convince him to see the light.
I was thinking: sending Leliana to Redcliffe can lead to an epic disaster. That would mean that there will be circumstances where diplomacy or brute force can fail too. Oh dear, choices with actual consequences...
Yeah, on one hand I'm excited that you have to carefully choose which one you'll send out (though I'll be using Josephine the most, of course), but it also sounds really nerve-wracking...It will be an interesting experience.
No idea. I also just remember how you can upgrade each section.
So maybe some of the upgrades will make the mission time shorter?
Maybe some missions will take more or less time depending on how far away they are? So missions closer to the keep won't take so long?
The Leliana option is to use agents to murder the Venatori adviser:
*snip*
What was Cullen's?
(Right now I'm leaning towards agents on that quest)
Leliana is so much more cold-blooded than I remember. Not that I disagree with that approach. I mean if the guy is being mind-controlled by blood magic wielding Venatori... as much as I like Josie I just don't think you can talk your way out of that one.

Leliana could be pretty cold even in Origins. Remember how casually she talked of manipulating, seducing, killing, etc. It's just more apparent now.

Not really. I remember the blithe fresh-out-the-Chantry lay-sister most. I know that as she reveals her past (and I've played Leliana's Song) you become aware of what she is capable of, and after hardening her she seems resigned to the fact that killing people... is kind of fun? It just seems like, insofar as what we've seen of her in DA:I, assassination is more her specialty than true espionage.
A dark, angry, yet poised killer. I guess I mourn the person she could have been.
I noticed the time. I wonder how long 3:12:00 takes ingame.
Probably real-time, Assassin's Creed 4 used a similar mechanic in its fleet mini game. I prefer XCOM: Enemy Unknown's turn-based way of handling research/construction but that's just me.

Dammit.
Also, still no word from Mike yet regarding the perks question. I hope he got my tweet ![]()

Thought so. Oh well, time to search all the nooks and all the crannies! And figure out the glitches that can be exploited... for great justice!
Mmmm.
Spending more time with Josephine by sending her on missions....
or spending more time with Josephine by not sending her on missions?

If I send her, she'll like me more because I trust her judgement. Then she'll be happy to see me when she gets back. Then I'm totally gonna get some! My plan is flawless!

I know, I know. That is very much true.
Maybe we can clone her like the Inquisitor (seemingly) in the trailer ![]()
How would that be, huh? An evil Josephine with glowing yellow eyes?

And instead of yellow and blue she'd be dressed in orange and purple? That's the mark of evil right there!

Ooh now I want to see that. Imagine the scene if the two would meet.
Brb, going to order a nice comfy chair and a big bag of popcorn in case that will happen.
