Getting things back on topic: what's your biggest hope for Josephine in-game, as an advisor, a friend, and/or as a romance? (I will absolutely not confirm or deny any replies, just driving non-Keep conversation)
Back when her character was first announced - before we even knew her name - I first thought of her as a sort of Malcolm Tucker character. Played by Peter "The Twelfth Doctor" Capaldi, he's one of the stars of the British TV series
The Thick of It, and was also in the film
In the Loop. (The same creative team runs the HBO show
Veep on similar premises.) He's a brilliant political enforcer, spin-master, and strategist who knows where the bodies are buried and what buttons to push, but who is most famous for being a vicious, angry, virtuoso swearer who can accomplish his political objectives by sheer force of will (read: bullying). Through all that, even though Tucker can be a real jerk, he's arguably a political idealist; he respects people who genuinely care about helping others through government (especially if they don't screw up) and treats "civilians" with courtesy. He reserves his considerable vitriol for the power-grubbers and the press.
On that analogy, Josephine would be the woman who cleans up the Inquisitor's frequent political messes, bullies the Orlesian and Fereldan nobilities into toeing the line, and manages crucial agreements and victories without drawing a sword or nocking an arrow.
I still kind of feel like she'll do this stuff, but I imagine she won't be sweary or bullying about it. That'll probably make her a much better friend/romance, at least. But if I had one really fervent, long-shot hope about Josie, it's that
I'd be able to witness her giving some obnoxious noble a bollocking. (NSFW: language.)
