Nope. We have no idea how or when they met. They are said to be old friends, but I think they met after the fifth Blight was ended. Possibly when Leliana went to Orlais to meet with the Divine in Awakening. Josephine is very familiar with Orlesian politics, so it makes sense that she would have traveled there on occasion.

 

I can't really see Bard!Leliana becoming friends with Josephine. 10 or so years is plenty to consider someone an old friend.

That sounds likely. Of course, they could have also met once or twice as part of Leliana's bard missions, but didn't become real friends after Leliana started working for the Divine.

 

Leliana knew Tallis too, and their meeting could happen right in 9:31, so Bard!Leliana must have met a lot of people.

Well, Josephine is most likely going to end up being my 'canon' love interest, so she'll end up with my 'canon' Inquisitor: Human female Artificer. I just like the idea of pairing her with someone who has nimble fingers...

 

Anyway, I wonder if companions/advisors will have relationships with each other if our Inquisitor doesn't snap them up? (like Fenris and Isabela in DA2). Who do you think Josie would end up with?

My first run is definitely a human male mage. First idea that came to me so first idea I'm using, he will romance Josie at least!

Though I agree, I quite enjoyed Liara's romance in ME, very sweet.
