Both Dorian and Vivienne are disdainful of Solas for having no 'formal' education. I'll try to find the relevant info, but it might take a while.

Edit: Can't find it. Maybe it's just a fan theory. Although I'm pretty sure Vivienne will look down on everyone. :D

We know Vivienne has a rocky relationship with a mage in DAI from Kirby's interview, so the mage can be Solas or Dorian. I think It's Solas due to the response of Gaider to one fanart where Vivienne was on a horse (IB was there as well) and told Solas that they were going to buy him decent clothes. Gaider said one character wasn't present to make the scene perfect becuase it wasn't announced yet, so i think it might be Dorian, but it's not sure at the moment.
We do know howewer from tweets that one character from Kirby really hates one character from Weekes, but I think in those tweets they were referring to Cole, since Vivienne wants to banish him.
I recall they hinted at problems between characters from Weekes and Chee as well, so it means Blackwall might not get slot with either Bull, Solas of Cole.

Rockstar can pull off understated badassery. Who would have thought? :D

But yeah, Josephine would provide an interesting contrast to other women we've worked with in previous games: optimistic without being naive and strong without being a battle hardened badass.

Agreed.
I wonder if Josie, Dorian and Vivienne will have some banter in Skyhold about fashion. They are the characters most interested in thos topic.

Ooh, so much potential for conflict! In Origins it was the Warden who made everyone get along and Hawke to some extent in 2. Perhaps Josephine takes over this role? At least at the beginning since we don't start out being in charge...

Possibly. Though It'd depend if those conflict will come up when they're all together or in some banters where Josephine is present.
Cassandra, based on the name of some party combo, will probably try to stop the conflicts, thought she won't use a diplomatic approach .

She does sound the kind of person that would do that. Little like the dalish keeper, how did Merrill put it...

Is Josephine with us from the very beginning, though, or does she only join us when we get to Skyhold? We know from her character page that she's brought into the whole thing by Leliana, which to me suggests that she won't be there immediately after the temple of Andraste blows up. But therein lies the assumption that the Inquisition is still "Plan B" for Cassandra and the others at that point, and has to get assembled quite hastily after the death of the Divine. That brings me to the feeling that she won't yet be there in Haven, and might only join us when we become the guy/girl in charge.

Cassandra is not one for social niceties. :D

With the information we got on Skyhold, I look forward to seeing how Josie will decorate her room. Apparently the 'kissing' option is back, so that too. And.. everything really. Just 71 days to go. *impatient*

Don't know about that. She might be pretty threatening .

I'm not sure about this. It could go either way, though it's possible Justinia and Cassandra planned already to recruit certain characters.
I guess we'll have wait and see.

That brings up another question: are the war table missions only available after we get the Castle? I would think probably.

Theory: The Inquisition starts with Cassandra, Leliana, Cullen (recruited from Kirkwall) and Varric. Then the PC gets brought in. That's not too many people yet. Then we start getting new allies: Solas, Sera, Blackwall, etc. Tensions are rising, the organization is an easy target in the village of Haven. A decision is reached to find a base of operations. Our scouts (led by that Dawrf lady) find an old, dilapidated, abandoned castle in the mountains. Cullen suggest taking it over as our headquarters. Leliana leaves on a secret errand (to go recruit Josephine). And there we have it: the start of the Inquisition.

Sounds likely. Also, that Haven crisis might provide the PC with a chance to shine and prove his or her allies that they can be more than a figurehead with a glowing hand of doom, but a leader that you can follow. The introduction of the war room would fit nicely then; from an errand-boy having to do the quests that your initial companions give you in Haven, to the true leader that sends agents and advisors from their main base in Skyhold.

Exactly like that. Would make sense as the start of the game. Oh on top of that: remember how in the Enemy of Thedas trailer, Dorian speaks to us, a barricade behind him, in the night? My guess is that's in Haven. "They are under the command of the Venatori, in service to something called the Elder One." He then points at something. To me this indicates we're being driven out of Haven.

Hmm... now the engine in my head has started running.

It would give a nice sense of achievement to being the leader.

I thought I smelled smoke. :P

It does sound very likely. We'll see how this little theory holds up. I just hope we can get most companions relatively early so we can spec them to our liking. It was annoying in Origins how late some of the companions would join.

I think it was stated that Varric isn't actually with Cass (yes, before they said they were together. It's a bit confusing), though I think he'll be with us before Skyhold.
I think Solas will somehow come up from is early in the game and tech us how to use our powers. Plus, he was with the PC and Cass in the 'A new home' concept art (Cullen will be probably there as well due to leading the soldiers).
I don't think we'll recruit most of the cast before Skyhold. In Haven, the Inquisition isn't really fully formed (there was a Shot of Laidlaw's elf where a character called our org 'inquisition', as it it's not something fully formed or with real power). It seems we have to do something in Haven to get Skyhold, since those lands seems to be given to Justinia by some Haven Noble, and they don't want to back up the 'inquisition'.

We might recruit Dorian due to the venatori plot (though if the scene in the last trailer is his 'recruitment', it might be at Skyhold), but I'm not sure. We'll definitely recruit Vivienne after the Inquisition is fully formed, since she throws is a party. I personally think we'll recruit Sera in the Exalted plains, due to her introduction in the E3 trailer.

In the end, I think in Haven we'll got Cass, Solas, Varric and Cullen for sure, Leliana will be likely with us, and Josie...I don't know.

Edit: i like the Dorian theory, though I don't think we'll be driven out of Haven. Maybe they're attacking us there.

I'm guessing Josie joins us once we get Skyhold. A pretty good bargain: a house and a girlfriend.

It's possible. I have a theory that we might acquire Skyhold from whoever pwns the lands in Haven using one of three approach (military, diplomacy or infiltration/assassination), so her presence might be required, but at this point it's a bit far-fetched.
I'd like if the three advisors are met at the same time though.

Mm, true, that explanation makes sense. At first everything is like "demons everywhere!", "help, help!", "we need to find the culprit of the Breach, but we don't have ea clue!", "how do you close this things?", and then, when we are feeling that we are getting the gist of it, an organized faction attacks Haven in full force. When everything is said and done, and the poor village is in ruins, comes a strange Tevinter mage and tells us who the assailants were.

And there you are, you have your enemy, your objective and it's evident that you need to think big and act big if you want to win.

But that's just a theory. We'll see.

Well with 'driven out of Haven' I mean that we'll get attacked there, and afterwards everyone realizes that it's not a good idea to remain in Haven, so we go find us a new home.

Oh, I see, I misunderstood.
I do think that the plan was always to go to Skyhold, and that they're in Haven for emergency and to find acquire it.
I think that Justinia might've taken those lands from some Haven Noble for a headquarter, but the Noble doesn't want to the it to the Inquisitor after Justinia's death (at least, this is how I interpreted that dialogue Laidlaw posted).

So, they accept visitors but not tenants? I guess that point will become moot after everything goes boom.

That basically says that the noble is not happy with the Inquisition staying there then. In Haven, I mean, where the lands were lent to the Inquisition Justinia. Sorry, my bad. Anyway, back to Josephine.

You know how the different styles shown in Skyhold are named Kirkwall, Orlais, and Tevinter, respectively? What if we can get something more Antivan-looking? I'm pretty sure we won't but one can always hope.

Though I can see a Ferelden style, Dalish, and dwarven.

Also, after much thought and pondering, I have decided that my canon Inquisitor (male Trevelyan, Rogue, Archer, Artificer, 25-28 years old) will romance Josephine.

He likes class, elegance, the bookish and writer types.

Cassandra is simply too old and too brash for him. Also, getting a sword shoved at his neck and subsequent imprisonment while he was all "WTF just happened to me ?!" is not good for romance.

Additionally, I would love to see Josephine going toe to toe with Vivienne in a verbal argument. Should be fun to watch & should be fun to see Vivienne getting burned !

Well I think I read somewhere that 'DuRellion' owns land in Haven or the entirety of Haven, not sure which. It would make sense that land in Haven was given to Justinia for pilgrimage, considering its proximity to the Temple of Sacred Ashes. Anyway. We'll see in-game.

And yes Nevarran would be cool as well :)
