Sorry, I misread your post and didn't see that you were referring to your dwarf! I have, however, seen other people use that term to refer to Josephine in the past, and so my point still remains.

 

That said, I still don't think "mafia princess" is an acceptable term to use in this case? I so love the concept you're going for with your Lady Cadash--TRUST ME, I am a huge fan of seeing confident, traditionally feminine women (cis or otherwise) in positions of power, and love that she will also clearly be a competent fighter and that her femme-ness is absolutely not mutually exclusive. I also understand that you're choosing to place those two words together in order to convey what you're trying to accomplish with your PC, but it is a real term with, as I said before, a loaded meaning, so I feel like a different term should be used in place of "mafia princess."

 

It's semantics, but it is a harmful term to me and to other women of ethnic groups that are systematically linked to criminal organizations whether or not they have personal ties to any crime families. But I love what you're going for, and can't wait to see more about her

I understand the way it's being taken, but it's not what I meant.  I mean it kind of is, and kind of isn't.  Is really confusing me to tell the truth.  I'm not big on the mob or Italian culture myself.  Was used for the reasons I said, to literally mean a girl of import in the dwarven mafia who is perfectly capable in high class feminine circles.  Like I said, I do not know the first thing about italian mafia culture.  I suppose I'm sorry for misusing a negative term and getting defensive.  No offense was meant, and I kinda reacted like I was being made out to be a bigot or something.

 

 

Once upon a time I used the term "******" one time to refer to a Japanese person (in the context of WW2 video game to boot) without any ill intent.  It was simply a contraction because I was discussing troop movements for both Japanese and American units.  So I contracted one to ****** and the other to US, just to save on space.

 

Turns out that ****** is a racist slur (spawned out of WW2, appropriately...).  I didn't intend for it to be offensive, but it's not my place to say if it is or is not offensive.  When called out on it I was initially defensive, because I knew that I didn't believe I was racist.  I still don't.  But the idea that I made a racist remark made me have to reconcile that reality because how could I say something racist if I wasn't a racist!  Stating it didn't make me a racist, but after being informed of it and reconciling it for a bit, I opted to use a different term (I learned that "Japn" was acceptable, and still a lot faster than writing "Japanese" dozens of times).

 

It happens and people make mistakes without realizing it.

Out of all the LIs I so far have the most PCs planned for Josephine I really hope I like her romance enough to do tons of runs with her especially since someone kindly pointed out to me that I could keep my very romantic Cadash who has a great taste for the finer things in life and goes out of her way to act like as much as the nobles as she can since she may fit with Josephine very well. I really hope that's the case She looks great and her info makes her sound great I just hope we don't have to wait to long to get her especially since my first run is a coin flip between my Cadashs one going with either Blackwall or Iron Bull and the other for sure going with Josephine

Aye! The Allegra Clarkis (species homosapiens) can be encountered roaming in the Montilyet inlet. The best way to lure it out of hiding is to leave cute duckies as bait. It's best if they move around, but still ones can work too. It's not aggressive and can be approached quite easily. Mind you don't try to follow it back to its nesting ground or grab it, because that's just creepy.

 

Edit: I almost said 'wetlands' until I realized how dirty that sounded. Actually inlet isn't much better...
