9:46 Dragon, 10th Day of Kingsway
Ansburg, Antiva
My dearest sister Josephine,
I write to you with a grieving heart. Our beloved city, beautiful Antiva City, has fallen to the Qunari invaders. They came at the break of dawn, caught us completely off-guard. We knew that they were besieging Llomerryn, but not that the island had fallen so quickly. Who could even have suspected that they would cut through our Armada with such ease? By the time they landed ashore, Rialto Bay was filled with burning ships.
It fills me with joy that you were not here to witness the horrors, dear sister. Our house, burnt to the ground; Crows cut down in the streets; women and children thrown from the buildings. Remember the olive garden out back, in which we used to play? The one that belonged to master Agapito? Oh sorrellina, I wish I didn't have to tell you how the trees went up in smoke, how the horned giants hung the servants from their branches. Agapito tried to defend his home, but he was thrown into the street and trampled by the fleeing masses. Within less than a few hours the entire city was abandoned, or so I have been told.
You need not worry about us, sister: we Montilyets have always been strong. We fled the city as soon as possible, and made our way down south to Ansburg. It's been two days since then at the time of writing; father has already left for Wycome, to rally what is left of the Felicisima Armada. I will be joining him shortly, while mother and our two younger sisters will make their way to Starkhaven. Prince Vael shall welcome us with open arms, I am sure of it. How could he not, considering a member of our family is betrothed to the Inquisitor himself?
I urge you not to come north, sorrellina. We will be fine. Remain in Skyhold. Mother promises to send you a letter soon, as will I once I have reached Wycome. Before long this war shall be over, and we will come visit you. Give my nephew a hug from me.
Stay safe, Josie.
Your loving brother,
Damiano

So umm.... I wrote this, because I suddenly felt like it. Haven't really put a lot of time into it so it could've been done better, but I don't want to spend too much thought on this.
For some reason I have this theory that if a Qunari invasion ever were to happen, it'd not begin in Tevinter. I believe the Qunari would try to fight their way around, maybe try one of the weaker countries that might possibly have been weakened by the Breach. So, let's say they invade via Antiva. What would that do to Josephine and her family? This letter is the result of that train of thought.
But as I said, it's more of a concept than an actual fleshed-out thing, so don't judge it too harshly.
Oh and that art is... fluffy. I find it to be very fluffy.
